Questions & Answers
This brand is from China, and it isn't trustworthy. Within a year, I had to replace ALL of the covers I had purchased.
Although the covers do not have any stretch, there is enough fabric to compensate for your 1 inch narrow measurement. Your measurements appear to be fairly close, but you should be adequately protected.
If you don't have chairs to fit under the cover, they have a 40 x 38 that would work.

Within a year, it had completely disintegrated!! In November 2018, I purchased a total of six Duck covers for my patio furniture. I did some research and discovered that the Duck brand had a good reputation. Other patio covers I'd read didn't seem to last a year, according to some of the reviews I'd read. I needed patio covers to last longer than that if I was going to spend so much money on them (remember, I bought six). Several reviewers advised me to spend a little more on the Elegant collection, which had a more durable construction and materials. They survived the first winter just fine, but when my husband and I attempted to remove them for the first time this season (approximately 1. They literally crumbled like wet paper 5 years after purchase. They appeared to have disintegrated when I examined them more closely. They were in a shady spot and hadn't faded, so it couldn't have been sun damage. Rain and the elements appear to eat away at the fabric's fibers, causing the plastic coating beneath to deteriorate. We followed the instructions to the letter. People who have owned them for a long time are now returning to leave reviews warning of the SAME EXACT THING HAPPENING TO THEIR COVER! I visited the Classic Accessories website because they provide a two-year warranty. This line is no longer listed under their cover collections, but a search for "Elegant" on their website reveals that it has been discontinued and is now heavily discounted. That proves to me that the company is aware of the poor quality of the covers and should do everything possible to stop them from being sold on Amazon and elsewhere unless and until the description is changed to light duty rather than medium to heavy duty as it is now! Tomorrow, I'll contact Classic to file a warranty claim for replacements from a different line that's actually medium to heavy duty. We'll see if they're willing to stand behind their warranty and their customers. I'll keep this review up to date as I get more information.
Duck Covers, specifically their "Ultimate" design, is one of our favorites. We bought these "Elegant" coffee table covers because they were Duck Covers and the right size. br>But they don't work. br>The issue is that the Duck Covers "elegant" collection does not include a vinyl liner, whereas the "ultimate" collection does. The "elegant" cover is merely a windbreaker for your furniture, and it will soak through in less than an hour of heavy rain. Please see the photos in the attachments. After a night of rain in Southern California, these photos were taken from the underside of the cover. Take a look for yourself. br>If you don't live in the desert, the Duck Covers Ultimate is a must-have. Because the Duck Covers Elegant isn't designed to be used in the rain, it's not recommended. br>br>2021 UPDATE: br>br>UPDATE: br>br>2021 UPDATE: They've gotten worse since we last looked at them. Water gets under the table top and sits between the wood and the underside of the cover because they are not water resistant in any way shape or form. Our outdoor coffee table has been completely ruined as a result of it. THESE COVERS ARE NOT TO BE PURCHASED. They cannot be submerged in water. They're only a smidgeon water resistant.
Duck Covers are the best! I bought them for my patio chairs and sofa, but I had to buy a different brand for my table because Duck Covers didn't have the right size. Duck covers are constructed of a thick, heavy-duty material. I've had the chair covers for at least two, possibly three years and they're still water resistant. The other brand was essentially a plastic tarp, and after only two uses, rain began to seep through the cover, ruining the finish on our granite table top. So, even though it's slightly larger than what I need, I finally got around to ordering the table version, and it's well worth it.
They were all overpriced, in my opinion. I have two large wood-framed/cushioned ottomans that get a lot of sun, heat, and dirt. It rains all year. After spending a significant amount of money to replace the cushions, I need to protect my investment. With these, the price was reasonable. The velcro at each corner snugs them up to fit well enough, and they appear to be well made for the price.
I paid around $20 for two of them. I really like how the front of the cover is labeled on the inside. Elastic around the base of the cover allows it to be easily adjusted to fit any size ottoman - This was a great feature because my ottomans are much smaller than the cover. I would buy it again and recommend it to others!.
For my patio furniture, I bought a few of these Duck Covers. Except for this one, which was supposed to cover my 32-inch square ottoman, I was very pleased with all of them. The issue is that the cover's measurements appear to be those of the outside world. It isn't a particularly large item. My ottoman will not fit under the cover. Unfortunately, Duck Covers does not have anything larger to offer. I wouldn't use this cover for anything bigger than 30 inches by 30 inches.
The following is taken directly from the manufacturer's description: "A combination of nylon straps with side-release buckles firmly secures cover in place"br>Unfortunately, mine only has the useless hook and loop straps, which would NOT keep this cover in place in the wind. The straps, I believe, are only used to cinch the cover in order to make it smaller. It also does not appear to be very long-lasting to me. Perhaps a year or two at the most. br>I'm returning it and replacing it with a different brand with buckled straps.
It didn't stand up to the test of time. We live in Denver, so things should degrade a little faster due to the intense sun, but this didn't last long at all. I was putting it back on the table today when a large hole tore through it from the table's corner.
