They fit my 42-inch highback chairs (42" in height) perfectly. There appears to be a good deal of tensile strength in the covers. The chairs I purchased have four different sizes, but I couldn't find anything exactly right. Several of the measurements of this cover were higher than I needed, but a bit narrower and shallower, but I decided to give it a try because it was the right color and a great price. Perhaps it's the shape of my chair, but it fits perfectly! While it takes a bit to pull on, once applied, it looks a lot nicer since it is reasonably fitted. had them on for only a couple days so cannot comment on durability but I'll be putting them on daily and year-round to keep pollen and random visiting animals away (birds, raccoons, stray cats) from damaging my chairs. We bought 4 last year to replace the chairs that held water in the seats for days after a heavy rain- The worst part about wet butts is that they are gross! Our goal was to keep the outdoor chairs looking nice for longer, so we covered them with a winter cover. Here we go! In a disastrous storm, we ended up losing one cover (it wasn't latched-- Error! Whenever I travel and my chair's carrier is not protected, I purchase this to protect my electric wheelchair. chair cover I bought for it (which is made for chairs and scooters) was too large, and therefore was unable to fit on it. The cost of scooter covers is $20, so I couldn't justify spending $150 or more on a cover. There is not a lot of excess on this cover, it's the right size, it has straps and connectors that I can use to secure it to my chair's wheels, and it has a lot of straps. As well as being much heavier, it is also brittle. That other one I bought did not have this quality and I wish I had had this in mind before buying.

The first thing I noticed when I took them out of the package was how sturdy and strong they seemed. I put them outside on the chairs almost as soon as it began to rain. These covers were dripping with rainwater beading up and rolling straight off of them. There were no signs of fear from the wind. You definitely get a good deal for the money you pay I do suggest them since I think they appear to be stronger and nicer than I had expected for the price paid. I will have to wait and see how long they hold up, but I am so happy with these so far!.
