From the moment our canopy unpacked, we could tell that quality had been put into it. It took me less than 5 minutes to set up after watching the video. As long as the cover is on the frame, we don't bother taking it off. Despite the sand, setting up and taking down at the beach is a breeze, we always use four people on each corner to keep the sand from blowing away. There is also plenty of sun protection as well. The beach chairs and coolers all have shade, and we have seven of them. In order to keep the tent/canopy in place, we purchased sand bags that wrap around the legs. At the beach, this product works perfectly and withstands the Ocean breeze as well as the occasional wind gust. Highly recommend! We are very pleased to find this and are so happy we did!.
I was contacted by the maker after they saw my review. I submitted a new cover, and this one did not have the original stitching issue. This was a great example of following through and fixing mistakes. It seems to be a great product! I have no doubts about the frame's durability and the unit is incredibly When we are done using it, we take it down and store it well so we do not leave it exposed to There has been some unraveling of stitching along the spine of the cover, and every stitching point will need to be redone. It almost seems as if the machine failed to close off the stitch, so the threads untangle. In my opinion, this would be a great piece of equipment if their issue could be resolved. There can be no certainty until the time comes.
In spite of the fact that it was 10 x 10 I expected a larger canopy, the quality is excellent and it packs down more compactly than this one did. Easy to set up, the push-pull mechanism makes it simple for one person to do all the work. In the past, I have set up other 10x10 canopies and it always required two people. This canopy can be set up by one person in no time at all. The material is extremely durable, I am not worried about how long it will last. Eagle Peak is a brand I've never heard of before, but judging by this canopy's design and quality, I plan to buy more outdoor gear from them in the future!!!.
There are a lot of options for a canopy, so choosing one can be difficult. I don't think it was the Miami sun that caused it to fade, as it lost all its color 1 year later. It is worth buying, however, at its price point, particularly since it is relatively inexpensive. If it is in tip-top shape, it will last you for a long time.
The cover has been used for camping for over a year.
