Yes! You could either lightly mist the inside walls from time to time or buy a small humidifier and place it on the bottom (there are a few on Amazon for around $30). Because the shelves have mesh grates, the humidity is evenly distributed throughout the enclosure. Put the humidifier on a timer, and you've got yourself a nice little automated mushroom house for under $75!
I live in New England, and our winters are probably too harsh for it, but if you don't get much snow, it should be fine. Best of luck!
I went to a discount store in my neighborhood.

- It's a little stinky right out of the package, so let it air out after you set it up
br> - The metal tubes support the shelves, which are placed on top of them. They'll stay in place when you put weight on them, but it would have been nice if they were clipped in somewhere so they wouldn't fall off when you move it (without anything on)br> - There's an extra hole in the center plastic piece below the one you're supposed to use (and the instructions aren't very clear about which one to use). I have no idea why it's there. You'll be consumed by it. br>br>Summary: br>br> br>Perfect if you need something small, cheap, with a reasonable amount of space (8 5lb mushroom blocks should suffice, possibly 8 10lb blocks), and easy to set up and take down.
I'm thinking of getting a second one! Without side protection, I wouldn't recommend installing it in a windy area. It's just common sense, given that it's made up of light hollow tubbing parts that can be put together without the use of any tools. br>It was simple to assemble, and the shelves can be removed or adjusted to fit taller plants. br>I recommend putting something greasy on the zippers, like lip balm or vaseline, to keep them from sticking and to extend their life. br>I've put up a silver foil-backed sheet. On the back wall of the GH, there is covered bubble insulation; It both reflects and insulates light.
I didn't need to use zip ties for stability, as I'd read in other indoor greenhouse reviews. I am overjoyed!.
It holds a TON of plants and is a great buy for the price. Even in my freezing cold apartment, the airflow is excellent while the temperature and humidity remain relatively stable. While on vacation, I kept my plants in here (with a big bowl of water at the bottom) for a week and they didn't die or dry out! My only criticism is that the grates can be a little flimsy with smaller pots (3" or less) and can wobble. They may also wobble if they aren't heavy enough to keep the grate firmly in place on the bar (it isn't actually attached to it). My 1. , on the other hand, The square grates fit 5" pots perfectly, which is fantastic. Overall, I'm grateful to have found such a high-quality product at such a low cost.
I looked at every one I could find before settling on this one. br>br>It was simple, intuitive, and enjoyable to put together! It took me less than 15 minutes to complete this task. br>br>As a result, the humidity stays between 80 and 90 percent. 90%. It's fantastic for my plants! Some of my more expensive plants were dying slowly before I put them in this greenhouse, but they're all doing great now. br>br>One thing to keep in mind is that, due to the large gaps between the wires on the shelves, you'll need to be careful when balancing smaller pots, as they may tip over if not placed correctly. with care This, on the other hand, appeals to me because it allows for plenty of light and airflow to pass through the shelves.
She loves it because it is simple to assemble, has deep shelves for seed starting trays, saves space on the balcony, and is nice enough to start seeds inside first before moving outside.
NOTE: The only criticism I had was the manner in which it was delivered. When I picked up the product box, the long sides were gaping open because it was barely sealed. I was worried that some small parts might be missing, but she double-checked everything before putting it together so that I could return it if I needed to. To save on waste, I'm glad it wasn't packaged in another box, but securing the entire length of the product box's long sides would be more secure.
I purchased this to replace an older ShelterLogic greenhouse with smaller dimensions, whose thin plastic/green weave cover had deteriorated and begun to fall apart, and I wanted a taller, deeper greenhouse with a mesh/screen cover as a replacement. After a lot of Amazon searching, I discovered that you can't get any with mesh/screen covers, except for maybe some of the super expensive wooden greenhouses, so I went with another ShelterLogic (one with a clear plastic cover) and decided not to use the cover and paired it with a Flower House FHXUPT-FHXUPT-FHXUPT-FHXUPT-FHXUPT-FHXUPT-FHXUPT-FHXUP Plant Tower Greenhouse X-BG Harvest BG Harvest BG Harvest BG Harvest BG Harvest BG Harvest BG Harvest Cover your Bird/Bug/Pest Inhibitor. The cover was more expensive than I wanted, but it was the only screen/mesh alternative to the plastics, and aside from the disadvantage of not having a zipper opening (it's just a slip-on), it was the only screen/mesh alternative to the plastics. It's a fantastic match for the greenhouse (over cover). To make the cover the right height for the cover, I had to use four legs from an old greenhouse, but that just gave me more plant space on the ground, so it worked out nicely.
These are what I use for 12-year-old children. Plants that are 18 inches tall. The Intex Mini Frame pool can accommodate two of these miniatures. Both are housed in an old 48x48 grow tent frame that holds the lights above the miniatures. Here's how I work: br>br> The three cross poles are only used on the two bottom shelves. After that, I stacked two wire shelves on top of each other. By placing the extra two poles where the top arch is, I am able to better stabilize the mini. br>br>A small humidifier and a heated seed mat are kept on the bottom shelf. On the third and fourth shelves, I cut 1x2s to fit across the shelf framing crosswise (front to back). Then I placed round drain trays on top of them, making sure to center the drain tray's outside edges over the 1x2s. br>br>I'm very pleased with how things are set up. This one now has three baby pineapple plants, one starfruit plant, and a mango plant (all of which are about 12" tall), with plenty of room for more. br>br>One suggestion I have for making sure your mini is stable is to use a rubber mallet to insert poles. You'll be surprised at how much of a difference it makes to put it together quickly and securely. Putting it up shouldn't take more than 10 minutes.
