Mine came with zip ties to keep them in place, but I reinforced them with 12" boards because the weight of the plants when they're wet is too much for the wire ones that came with them.
depends. I'm confident you'll be able to connect one to it. It's at an angle, and the plastic is in contact with the tubes.
For seedlings, this is the best option.
There are several types of pvc pipe and fittings that are incompatible with each other, which could explain why the fittings didn't work. t fit. The appearance of CPVC 1/2 inch fittings is similar to the next pvc size up. Most have the imprint identity on the side; if not, 1/2 cpvc has a beige or yellowish tint and is 5/8 outside diameter. /2 inch PVC is white and appears to be about the same size as 3/4 inch PVC. I hope this information is useful.

It's well-made and quite durable. It took some time to arrive, but the wait was well worth it. They also provide excellent customer service. I picked up a few pointers from other people who had reviewed similar greenhouses. Using a rubber mallet, for example, to ensure that all of the pieces were properly interlocked. In addition, I utilized all-inclusive I used weather tape to secure the poles to the joints to ensure that everything stayed in place (especially when carrying the greenhouse through my yard). I'm so excited to get started on my garden! This is the greenhouse to get if you're thinking about getting one.
Very simple to put together. I only had to double-check the instructional photo a couple of times, and I had it all put together and ready to go in under 15 minutes. br>br>The racks don't lock in or attach in any way, instead simply sitting on the crossbars, which is fine, but I had to give it a 4/5 for sturdiness because they do slide off. Now, I don't anticipate any of my plans involving my toddler running off the edge and tipping a rack, so this isn't really a disadvantage, but it did ask for my sturdiness rating, so there it is. br>br>In terms of size and ease of assembly, I can't think of anything that compares - Definitely a 10/10. The close tiers (while still leaving enough space to actually put plans in there) provide a lot of vertical space in a small footprint, making it ideal for apartment living or a small patio. br>br>I also like how there's room at the top for a grow light to be attached and hung for sprouts on the top shelf! br>br>Overall, it's super light, super easy to put together, and it doesn't sacrifice strength to be light - at least, that's my opinion. It appears to be capable of carrying a full load for several seasons without deformation. Oh, and the exterior covering is fantastic! br>br> It's comfortable to wear, and the zippers are functional.
Last night, the temperature dropped to the upper 30s, but the lights kept us warm! This morning, everything was fine and warm. If you want to do this to yours, just make sure the lights are positioned away from the plastic. These lights aren't particularly warm. They have the perfect amount of warmth to them! However, I wanted to ensure that no one was lying on the plastic. Some of them had to be secured with zip ties. To fill the remaining two shelves, I'll have to buy another strand. I ordered them from Novelty Lights and they came with 25 lights per strand. com. On Amazon, they're likely to have some. I didn't go back and double-check. Overall, I'm pleased with the setup! br>br> br>br>Because we don't have much extra space in our apartment, I ordered this, which is the perfect size for my porch. It went together quickly. I wish it were a little more sturdy, but I don't have a lot of things to put in it, so it's fine for now. I did use zip ties to keep the racks in place. My porch gets sun all day until about 3 or 4 p. m. , so I'm going to add some reflective insulation on the back and one side. My little greenhouse is perfect for me!.
On windy days, it must be secure. Due to a lack of outdoor space and the inability to see over the fence, I purchased this mini greenhouse. The fact that it had a small opening in the back was a plus. A small solar panel was eventually used to power a 5v PC fan. It keeps the temperature on the top shelf below 100 degrees Fahrenheit during the day while keeping the winter chill at bay at night. I have a few suggestions: br>br>
- To keep the shelves in place, use cable ties.
- Make sure it's not too windy where you put it. Due to house painting, I had to relocate my greenhouse, and the wind blew it down overnight (with weights on the bottom shelf). Since then, I've leaned two 5gal buckets filled with water against the wall to keep it out of the way of the wind.
- More ventilation control can be achieved by using clothespins or garden clips on the front and back openings. br>br>I've had it for over a month and have noticed significant growth in comparison to my plants outside the greenhouse. Winter is just around the corner, so this is ideal.
I figured it wouldn't keep my plants warm for the price. I was completely off the mark. It's sweltering in there! I live in San Diego, so all I needed was something for the winter to keep my plants warm at night when there was a chance of frost, and I did it all by myself at 8 months pregnant. a breeze I would recommend getting more zip ties if you want your shelves to be a little more sturdy, but they do the trick for me. It's also quite large! There is plenty of room. This guy has made my life so much easier!.
This is the ideal solution for my city yard, and it was incredibly simple to put together. All of the pieces are labeled with letters and numbers, making it easy to put together. In just over an hour, I was able to complete it on my own. It's extremely light, and it's simple to move into place. Because the ground fasteners aren't very strong, I put two pieces of slate inside the structure to keep it from moving when it's windy. This structure isn't particularly sturdy, but it gets the job done and is well built for the money; I've got seedling flats inside, as well as a couple of ceramic pots. The shelves aren't designed to support a lot of weight. This is intended for seedlings and should not be used to store large potted plants, particularly those in ceramic pots. During the winter in the Northeast, the daytime temperatures are warm enough to eat lunch inside without a jacket. My plants are doing well, as well. This was purchased so that I could start my seedlings as soon as possible and have a greater variety of seedlings. Because my grow lights can only handle small batches at a time, I plan to disassemble the unit in the summer when the nights reach 55 degrees and then reassemble it in the fall. Because of its small size and light weight, it is possible to do so.
The enclosure was removed because I wanted to use it as an indoor plant shelf. It makes it simple for me to connect grow lights and reconfigure it as needed.
