Questions & Answers

Several of you mentioned using it indoors, and while it is a good size for smallish spaces, how appealing is it? Thank you very much. ?

I don't use mine indoors because I don't have a cover. It's not particularly appealing, but it's not terrible either.

I'd like to know how many inches the shelves are apart. Please accept my sincere gratitude. ?

If you have taller plants, you can easily remove them if they're 12 inches apart.

Can I use this in the winter to keep my greens (kale, parsley, mint, and so on) growing well inside my home? I'm from the northwestern part of the state of Wisconsin. Do you have any questions?

It will assist you in maintaining the desired humidity level, but you will almost certainly require additional lighting.

What you pay for is exactly what you get
3/5

I was expecting a lot from this, but I was quickly let down. It was simple to construct the greenhouse. I admit it didn't feel quite as sturdy as I'd hoped, but it appeared to be adequate for my needs of protecting my succulents from the mild Northern California winter. This took two days to put together. To add extra support, I zip tied the shelves to the frame. To counteract the weight, I arranged my plants in a specific way. I chose a spot along the fence that was flat. br>When I got home from work today, less than 48 hours after putting my plants in the greenhouse, I discovered that I'd bought a miniature Leaning Tower of Pisa. Today's wind speed was 0 MPH, so it wasn't the cause of the problem. I'll chalk it up to poor materials and pray for few plant casualties.

My greenhouse is one of my favorites
5/5

It's been about a month since I got it. I live in an apartment with a patio that is quite large. My seedlings are thriving. My husband zip tied the shelves to the frame for extra security and also to our patio railing when he set up the greenhouse. Since then, I've added seedling heating mats, a couple of battery-operated fans, and a hanging led grow light and grow bulb that I've incorporated into a simple desk lamp. At 6 a. m. , I was tending to my seedlings in the first photo. These days, having a cup of coffee is less important to me than my greenhouse. This is an outstanding purchase.

It could use a little work, but once you do, it'll be perfect
4/5

I only gave it four stars because it needed a few tweaks to make it perfect: buy zip ties to secure the racks to the rods, as the racks are likely to have been distorted during delivery. resulting in unbalanced and unstable shelves However, once you've done that, They're great if you tie them down. br>br>To keep track of temperature and humidity in my greenhouse, I installed a combination thermometer/hygrometer. By opening and closing the zippered front flap, you can easily regulate humidity. br>br>To help stabilize it on the floor, I recommend placing it on something you have lying around. It's not particularly shaky, but it's better to be safe than sorry. To catch drips, I used an area rug covered in several layers of old newspapers. br>br>I secured fluorescent grow lights to the rods on the inside of the greenhouse with zip ties and ran the cords to a timer through the bottom. For your convenience, I've attached a photo. To be honest, it was the addition of my own grow lights that made me fall in love with this greenhouse. br>br>As a final note, see if these greenhouses are available at your local hardware or garden store. A few days after receiving mine from Amazon, I found one locally for $20.

This is great; it's exactly what I was looking for
4/5

This is great; it's exactly what I was looking for. It's against the south wall of my brick house, and it's quite warm. The only reason I didn't give it five stars is that it desperately needs a top vent. This winter, I'm going to try to add one to the top; if I succeed, I'll post an update. I'll mention that it has tabs on the back that can be used to secure it to a wall. I strongly advise you to make use of them. It had fallen over when I went into the garage to get my plants because I had set it up on a windy day! Plants may provide more stability, but losing them would have been devastating. The hooks that we used come to mind. We've had a few more windy days, and it's held up well; on a sunny day, the difference in temperature between inside and out can be as much as 30 degrees.

Setup is a breeze
4/5

It's been about a week since I received my Greenhouse. Setup is a breeze. Don't squander your money on the professional setup it provides. It's as simple as putting the rods in the plastic holders and covering them with the plastic cover. It's super simple! It was much more durable than I had anticipated. Also, without the plants, it's incredibly light. Before you put the plants in, make sure it's where you want it to be. )br>br>Also, the wire shelves were slightly warped when they arrived. They are, however, flexible enough to bend to level it, and I simply zip tied them to the bars for added security. Extra zippers at the top of the door were the only thing I wished it had. I only have plants on the top two racks, and having to unzip the entire thing to get to the top section is a little inconvenient. However, this isn't a major issue. Another feature that this product requires is cord-passing sections in the back of the house. Perhaps one Velcro-closed hole per shelf, through which cords for heat mats, lights, and other items can be routed. br>br>Aside from that, I'm very pleased with the product (as are my plants!).

It is unquestionably valuable. Two photos are included, one of which includes a cat for scale.

Love it! It's that simple! I'm not sure why it took me so long to receive this! I'm also not sure why people complained that the instructions were difficult to read
5/5

It was simple to put together and took very little time. The only thing I wish was that the shelves could be secured, but that's nothing a few zip ties can't fix! Because I don't have a lot of patio space, this is ideal because it takes up very little space. The cover does an excellent job of protecting my plants from the elements. Because the entire thing is relatively light, you'll want to put some bricks on the bottom shelf to weigh it down. On the top shelf, there's a jiffy planter, herbs in colored containers (basil, parsley, and thyme), aloe plants on the third shelf, and peppers, chamomile, and echinacea in grey planters on the bottom shelf. It also allows for easy access to the sun, and when closed, it effectively traps heat and moisture. Clearly, the heaviest items should be kept on the lowest shelf. If this trend continues, I may need to purchase a second one to accommodate additional plants and herbs! This is something I would strongly recommend!.
