Questions & Answers

Is it possible to use a ten-foot extension cord with this?

Yes, mine is powered by a 25-foot extension cord and uses a solenoid to control my CO2 tank; the manual is available on the manufacturer's website.

I was advised by a friend to purchase the Titan Atlas 7, and this is my first time using CO2 in my green room; will this have the same effect?

It does exactly what it says on the tin and hasn't given me any problems. Just make sure the exhaust fan isn't turned on while you're using it!

What does this mean from a rad-point of view? For mushroom growers, is 0501a the right choice?

When CO2 levels are too high, the 0501 controls a co2 generator, while the 0501A controls an exhaust fan.

Is it possible to use it with a timer, so that when the timer goes off, the controller turns on and releases CO2?

The valve opens when the room temperature is low and closes when the room temperature is high. It regulates carbon dioxide levels. I assume it would be turned off by the timer?

10 Stars! 10 stars! I'm not sure how this unit is such a good deal, but it appears to be
5/5

I just got it, and it's completely accurate right out of the box (within the margins of all the meters in general) and works flawlessly so far. It was shipped in a professional manner and does not have the appearance of a low-cost product. If the construction quality holds up and this unit lasts, it will be one of my best purchases to date. br>br>Creative+ paraphrase: When compared to just using a regulator and timer, the unit is still working perfectly and has doubled the life of my CO2 tank. With only having to go to the store once a month for refills, this unit will pay for itself in about 8 months when the cost of Co2 and gas driving are taken into account. br>br>Recent changes: br>br> I've had the unit for about 4 months and it's still going strong; I couldn't be happier at this point, and I'd buy another one without hesitation. I'll try to update around the end of the year, or sooner if there's a problem, which I don't expect. br>br>Update after 2 Years - I'm about to buy another unit for another room and thought I'd give you an update on how long it's been working. br>br>Update for the past three years - They look exactly the same as they did the day I bought them. br>br>Update on 4 Years - The only issue I've had is that these are currently out of stock, so I'm unable to purchase another.

It really works
5/5

It really works. I've always been curious about my PPM levels when I wasn't taking CO2. Well, it starts at around 600 PPM and drops to under 400 PPM. Now that I have it, I can not only monitor my levels, but I've also added a 20lb CO2 tank. I keep my levels at 1100 PPM, and it's been three weeks since I bought this. My plants' growth has changed dramatically. My girth has grown, and I've had to raise my room temperature from 75 to 80 degrees Fahrenheit, as well as increase my nutrient intake from 0 to 1. EC6 to EC0 9EC . Over the course of two days, I noticed a 200 PPM reduction in my nutrient solution. Normally, I only see drops like this over the course of a week or when in transition (ie: 2nd flowering week). br>br>Recent changes: br>br> There are two settings on the newer model: high and low. When I ordered a replacement a year later, I received the newer one. br>br>Recent changes: br>br> br>I've been able to track my CO2 supplementation and loss since I started using this meter. It has helped me save money. br>Now that my rooms are sealed, I can get a 20-pound bottle to last for two weeks. At 1200ppm for 3 weeks. br>After adjusting my nutrients to match the increased metabolism caused by my CO2 supplementation, I was able to double my yield. Every two weeks, you'll spend $13 on CO2. The best $78 I've ever spent on a single plant. No nutrient in a bottle will give you the same results as CO2.

For the, it's fantastic! It takes precise measurements and made me realize how much CO2 I was wasting
5/5

This is fantastic! br>Successful Update: If the LED lights on the unit are a concern, rest assured that they do not turn on when the room is dark.

It will stifle your crop unless you use a timer. The controller continues to function even when it is in the night cycle. And while the lights are still turned on Through the air intake, it is flashing a white/red light. Even if you use the night cycle to cover. The front panel of the vehicle is illuminated by the light. Third cycle with new room, and I had to get rid of about 25 hermied plants. Everything was fine until I threw this in. During the night cycle, no lights should be turned on in the rooms. This puts the plants under a lot of strain. It's a good thing I didn't lose all of them. It's not worth the trouble.

I received a unit that was either damaged or had previously been used
3/5

I paid for a brand new unit, but I got one that was either used or returned. It also doesn't work properly. "Remove protective film before use" is written on a sticker. It is not protected by a protective film. There are scratches on the face. I didn't think it was a big deal. As suggested by the instructions, I calibrated it outside (to 410ppm). because the number was in the 500s Calibration is completed, but it climbs to 530ppm after a few minutes. That's obviously incorrect because Armageddon hasn't arrived yet. It's now in the low 420s after 30 minutes. This review is being written by me. 523 is written on the wall. 410, 421, 410, 421, 421, 421, 421, 421, 421, 421, 421, 421 I re-calibrated it, but it still had the same issue.

AWESOME
5/5

I've had several CO2 monitors over the course of my 15 years of cultivation, and this one does the job and is just as accurate as much more expensive units. I like how you can plug in your CO2 tank directly to it or another device on the other end of the cord; it's a good bye and I'm very pleased with it. I highly recommend you buy this unit; you won't be disappointed. br>You can set the desired range, as well as the high and low points at which your CO2 will turn on and off. It has a daylight sensor, so you won't have to worry about your CO2 being turned on when your lights are turned off. You'll also find a temperature in barometer meter on this unit, which covers everything that the more expensive models do.

This is an excellent controller, regardless of price; do some research and you'll find that this is a very low price for this quality, though I notice they've raised the price by $20 since I bought mine six months ago
5/5

It performs as expected and has a solid build quality. Get one before the price goes up again, in my opinion.

The best value for your money
5/5

This meter was bought to power my co2 generator on autopilot. And I'll tell you, it's far better than I expected. It's precise and maintains a 1200 ppm level in my 18x90 greenhouse. To keep CO2 levels from rising too high, the meter can be used to power a generator or an exhaust fan. It's incredibly simple to set up and operate. I was up and running in less than ten minutes. I'll be buying more for my other greenhouses, and I'd recommend it to anyone who needs to add CO2 and precisely control it for a small to large grow. A PLUS.
