It is undoubtedly an oversight on the part of the reviewer who complained about the plastic vent cover just sitting on top and not being pressed The large unvented jiffy flats I've been using and even my homemade seed trays are poor alternatives. It is very simple to do and proves much better than the large flats without a vent. The next time I order them, I will likely order them again.

It is nice to have these seedling starter trays with 12 cells per tray. I appreciate that they are so large. will be nice to be able to plant different kinds of seeds in each tray, be able to move them around, and adjust the amount of warmth or light received by each seed. If the disc for controlling the humidity on top actually snapped into the cover, it would be more convenient. Because it is set on the tray, it can easily be dislodged when the cover is removed or the trays are moved. The fact that all items can be stacked and stored in one small space is convenient.

I am very satisfied with the results. Only one seed has been planted in each cup so far, and we have had almost 100 percent success. We kept the water in the base and the vents open so that they would stay warm and dry. In 9 days, you have the result you want! The seedlings are growing well! You can now transplant your plants into a little larger container.

liked this set, but I would like to know what the vents in the cover are for. In fact, some of the seeds I used mold and I had to throw them away. I am thinking it was the potting soil that caused this problem. It took me a while to learn how to plant roses from seeds, which I understand is difficult to accomplish at first. The instructions you provided to me were unclear, including the details of a venting system and how to water.

Where have I been? Why have I not bought these earlier? They are so easy to use for starting seedlings. In addition to germination rates that are way higher, the mini greenhouse effect also makes the seeds germinate more quickly. Keeping the moisture in and creating an ideal environment for the seedlings is what the kids do. The inserts are also easy to transplant since they are made of.

I love the sturdy construction and the ventilation port as well as the small size, which is easy to carry around and allows me to keep different seedlings in one trays without mixing up varieties. There were complaints that the ventilation part of the equipment was not A table should be used and it should be pressed more firmly. Having peat pellets in mine and not using the inserts makes the cage sturdy as well as the inserts. This was a so-so product. I wished the cover clicked onto the base and deducted one star for it. It doesn't matter because I really like them and want to order more.

In March, I started seedlings, and they took off nicely. After seedlings have roots that can be seen because of the clear potting container, you can water from below when the lid is open for humidity. I am doing it for the first time. My first time using the kits and I had extra containers, but I was nervous about putting a lot in since it was my first time using them. The utensils that came with the kit were perfect!.

found that the seeds grew nicely in the right environment, and until then, I don't think they would have done as well. Getting the seedlings out of their containers and replanting them elsewhere that had more space was a very difficult process.
