Questions & Answers

Do the spring seats have to be welded in place at 58" or can they be adjusted? I require a total of 57 Centers are 1/2". ?

I'll see what I can do about getting them with loose pads so you can weld them in place.

What are the options for choosing a different axel size?

You could send a request for a different size in a note.

Will this work on my 5x8 utility trailer with small tires? I'd like to see if it would raise the trailer and allow it to carry more weight. ?

It should, but the hub is made of five bolts. Check to see if your hub has four bolts.

Is it possible to reverse the axles so that the spring is at the top?

Cambering is used on the axles. To get the axle under the spring, you'd have to add spring perches to the top.

Everything you'll need is included in this kit. There are a variety of widths to choose from. They were able to provide me with precisely what I was looking for. The Johnson company provides excellent customer service; I will update this review later, but the installation should go smoothly.
