Questions & Answers

Is it possible to transport my home generator on this cart? The mesh seems strong enough, but how strong will it be? There are a few hundred pounds involved. ?

carts like this, one that I purchased from Harbor Freight, and one that I purchased from Home Depot for less. Both are the same size, but the Home Depot cart has no side walls. This generator is smooth to pull, and I have a 230-lb generator on it. In spite of this, the mesh of the generator began to break off the legs. Cut a board that is the size of the flat bed, and then place your heavy generator on it if you are getting this for a heavy generator. You might find it works for you as well if your gene3rator is not as heavy as mine. It may be helpful to know this!

How does the mesh floor compare to a surface liner? Would you mind telling me what it is made of if it is? Will you be able to move ?

An extremely thin vinyl mat covers the wire mesh of your device. What I did is described here. My plan was to cut cedar pickets 6" wide and place them in the bottom of the cart so that the weight would be evenly distributed amongst the This cart is so good that you will enjoy it. The cedar won't rot, and you can put the river rocks in it. Just don't exceed the weight limit. It is a great cart, so you will enjoy If I wanted to, I could take down the pickets, but I prefer not to. In order to prevent the pickets from warping out of shape I screwed each one of them to a 2x4 standing on edge. This is not a costly project and well worth the effort. Have fun with your cart, it's great!

What is the function of the rear "tailgate," does it flip down, or does it only lift up?

Tabs and flanges lift it off, but it does so in a manner that relies on tabs and flanges. With the bottom edge held as if on a hinge, you can fold it If you want to remove it, you can simply lift it.

Do I have enough space in the back of my Jeep to fit it?

It's 49-inch wheels. Don't know what kind of jeep you have or what you mean at all by put together, but it's 49-inch wheels. The length is 24 inches by the width is 8. Without the handle, the width would be about 5 without the pin that isolates it from the handle.

Construction of the bed is defective
3/5

A tack weld is applied to the bottom of the "wire mesh. " There are only very small beads holding the bed frame to the bed. Gorilla Carts gets a 4 for service after attempting to resolve a defective product. Amazon gets a 5 for trying to resolve the issue. Is given a zero because of the following reason. The wheel of my original garden cart broke off after the cart was put through a ringer (I loved the cart - it did the job - but the wheel broke off) so I purchased my Gorilla Cart. (It does not belong to the Gorilla Cart family of brands). As soon as the Gorilla Cart was delivered and assembled, I could not wait to start using it. This was used for the first time to lug 12 lb bags A friend took 16-inch diameter logs (rounds) into the backyard so I could stack and split The (flimsy - ) fabric I had used for an hour finally came apart It was so common that I took a plastic bedsheet out of the cart to shake off the collected debris. As I noticed the metallic (mesh) bedsheet had broken away from the frame, I began to consider whether I should change the bed. My attention was immediately drawn to the tackiness of the metal bedsheet after flipping the cart over The frame is welded to the wall. So that, in this case, the only thing holding the metallic bedsheet to the frame was a small "bead" from the tacks You're welding! Putting 60lbs of ammunition in the cart, did this tiny bead withstand that weight? Of course not. As I compared Gorilla Carts' construction with my old garden cart, the bedframe of my old cart was tack-welded. This was the case even though there was actually only one weld on the top This resulted in part of the mesh frame not only being welded to the lip, but also the 1-inch lip becoming too wide to bend A lip of 1 inch held the mesh in place. In response to my call to Amazon, it sent me a replacement cart and I replaced the broken bed frame using it. It has now been a few weeks since I installed the "new" bed frame, which has since also broken. It appears that I have not been able to resolve my issue after calling Gorilla Carts. As a result of submitting them, it took me the following time Among the items I requested are the original Amazon Invoice, the "Lot #" on the cart's frame, pictures, etc. I requested, in the interim, to speak to a manager and was told she "was" the manager, and she "will process my claim. " This is absurd. I would not purchase this unit again, nor would I recommend anyone else to buy it until the defective construction of the bed frame has been corrected, as it is both ridiculously flimsy and also not reinforced in any way such that it could withstand "RUGGED" usage.

I find the construction to be disappointingly cheap
3/5

As far as I know, this cart does not meet the claims of being heavy-duty. There are three sides to this cart that are made out of thin metal and I have had to pound them straight several times since I have had it. The metal is so light gauge that I could simply slap it back into shape (as close as possible) with There is so much cheap plastic on the sides. In any case, I'm never going to use this cart for work or even come close to its I am very dissatisfied with this product. My initial thought was that something called a Gorilla Cart would be more difficult. You can see that the sides are made out of thin metal pieces welded together into square stock in a c shape.

In the course of its journey from China, the vessel was damaged, and it was rebuilt Could you sell me tapes that have been taped? Two kinds of tape were attached to the cardboard box in which this arrived
3/5

Someone (at Amz?) had obviously taken a hit to it, and then someone else got involved. (re-sealed it after patching). After confirming that all the parts were in place, I assembled the axles and wheels and prepared the vehicle. Once I turned it over to the upright position, I found that the deck itself had bends along one of the At any given moment, only three wheels are on the ground. When empty, one wheel is more than one-half inch from the smooth concrete floor of the garage. It's a bit unstable, so there's a wobble. I didn't intend to use the sides, so it is not a big deal when the sides don't mount properly. Although the damage probably would not have been significant, the cart probably would have been fine without it There's no need to break the bank - It appears to be a Chinese build of a decent quality based on manufacturing and price. The reason why I'm keeping it is that returning it now would be too big of a hassle for me.

I purchased a dump cart from John Deere over three years ago for over $200. The watch was heavy, cumbersome, and I did not use it much. The cart I am reviewing today came in the mail one hour after my area was picked up. I immediately took it out of the box and started assembling, it took about 30 minutes, but was very worthwhile. Yes, I am very impressed by this product's design. After assembling this cart, I noticed right away that the hardware needed to put it together was made from high quality metal, stainless steel welding, and nylon lock nuts that were designed to last. The handle is very well made and along with the pneumatic tires, this wagon is very When I sat in a cart and asked my wife to pull me with one finger, her reply was, "That's not possible, you weigh a little over 200 pounds. ". I had no trouble being pulled by her. A great feature of the metal mesh side panels is that they are removable and are It is easy to assemble or remove the sides. There was no compromise on the quality of the wagon. It was easy to pull and still strong enough to carry a heavy load. This cart is of the same size as the cart I have made by another company, but it does not come with removable sides. My cart has 230 pounds of capacity. Upon that was a generator, which had pneumatic wheels as well, and I was able to pull this heavy unit with one hand. Due to the pneumatic wheel design and lightweight frame of both carts, they're easy to use for anyone pulling heavy loads. The cart will be a great choice if you're dealing with back issues or do not want to use a heavy dump cart! Additionally, this cart is made by a great company, Gorilla Carts, and I've enjoyed using it As much as I loved the art, I decided to name it. As for its name, I called it Coco in honor of a late gorilla who was well versed It is a tribute to Coco and the manufacturers of such a great product.

I am not being compensated for my review. I am simply very happy to get rid of a heavy dump cart and have a "Coco" cart in its place!.
