It does what it claims to do

My dog and I wanted to carry it while walking, as there are a lot of vicious dogs running loose in my neighborhood. They were yelling and running when they saw this thing. You're awesome I like it a lot!.

Worked great for me

This didn't seem to work to me & believe me, I thought it failed The first one didn't work, so I ordered a replacement, but the second didn't work either, so I figured it was user error I googled it. The tip of the needle needs to be pressed against the flesh while the buttin is pressed for a bit of jolt. I found out about this from Google. Then I left off the button after pressing it and letting go of it, and it confirmed the set. I felt a slight shock when I touched the tip of the pen to my hand.

Inside the thing I bought in 2019, there is a short. The second set of batteries were not even used. As a result of the malfunction, I almost burned myself. It is not possible to return the product.

A factory error caused this product to be improperly assembled. It is impossible to install the wand into the base and attach it with screws. I cannot rate it because it deserves no stars.
