On my fingers, several gray slime particles appeared after I opened the package and put the mower on it. As I examined the part I saw it looked like parts of it had melted- Here is a picture where I didn't run the mower yet. As explained in the review, the best way to maintain an engine is to keep it clean. After running the engine, the part got soft and slimy. Other reviews indicated the part was in good condition, this last one is unacceptable over any price.
Purchasing this valve was difficult because there was no diameter specified, so I actually had to buy two different valves to find one that actually Rotary Outdoor Equipment is where I purchased the Dust Ejector Valve. The part number is 1919-0 of the 21-hp Kawasaki engine that I have. There's no room for error with 15518 as it fits very tightly. All the information I could find on the internet until my eyes lit up at this one.
The diameter of the tube is 5 inches.
Having replaced the old torn dust ejector valve on my Exmark 60" Lazer Z with a 28 HP Kohler Command Pro 28 EFI, I have upgraded the whole machine. Using Prime shipping, I received a direct replacement that fit and arrived on time.
The Bob Cat one was much more expensive. This one fit perfectly.
My land pride zxt mower has a faulty cap, so I bought this one to replace it. It fit perfectly and I think it is a better made cap than the original.
