If you have a return line, there is always going to be some pressure. For the price, I would give it a try. But keep an eye on the line for bulges or leaks.
5/8" seems to be the right measurement
It does not say what type of hose I have. It states in their catalog that their heater hose is EPDM in "Thermoid" 01 11 19 C
You should be able to use it

The hose works but the wall thickness is about two-thirds of what it would have been if it had been the original 3/4" hose. A very easy way to pick up kinks. The task of cleaning up and reorganizing ended up being quite time-consuming It was an old hose I used.
It's 3/4 inches in diameter. This is a hard one to mess.
I have tested them in a (freshwater) marine environment and they seem to be working well. They are resistant even when hot, but not sure if they will hold up to salt. We had to stretch one onto a larger fitting, and they were very resilient.
I ordered 3/4 inch inside diameter instead of 5/8 inch when I needed 3/4 inch. This seems like a good hose, but I took a shortcut and didn't do my homework well enough. According to the hose, if it is ordered with the proper size, it is a quality hose.
This fitting is so thin that it cannot be pushed on. This product is not suitable for applications involving automobile heaters. A high degree of temperature and pressure is not likely to sustain it.
This car has been on the road for at least 12 months. I would purchase this product again with no problems.
On my YJ, it is used as the heater supply hose (top). This replacement hose was the perfect replacement for the ancient OEM model.
