When removing the lid, how do you do it?

I remember pulling the lid all the way toward one side and carefully bending the lid a little bit, with the pin lifted out on the other corner. There should be enough space on the hinge side of the box and flex in the lid so that it should be fairly easy to remove.

Do you think it will work on a S100 ?

You can use it with the 100 series models newer than the 100 series.

That should be the case. The S140 was compatible with the cover.

This is a perfect factory cover for the JD

A JD factory cover was not installed by the dealer. It is rather cheap of John Deere to not install the cover. I snapped it on perfectly and it looks and works great, but it had a small As long as I keep my John Deere D110 inside, this will do the job.

Functionality and fit are both present in this part. The fact that they sell blemished items over the internet is not disclosed to their The mower's cover is functional, but it looks kind of out of place on a new machine. It would have been better if I had gone through my local John Deere dealer.
