For colors, it works fine, but I bought the Prismacolor sharpener to use with it because it makes two different types of points according to It's awesome that you can use your nubs all the way up to the end of this pencil with the price of good pencils.
There was one in the package that I liked. As long as you make sure to turn the pencil sharpener, not the pencil, you should be fine. As well as replacing the blades, you can also repair them. purchased an additional sharpener, actually a couple, but handheld sharpeners are said to work best with these types of In spite of this I bought a Staedler with two sizes to use with my pastel pencils (can't remember the spelling) and then an Alvin because they are the best. I also purchased lots of blades since some of the pencils don't last long. There is a little jewelry box about the size of a bangle bracelet that I put the sharpener into. This probably occupies a larger space than the Prismacolor with its container. At night, after drawing and doing things in the evening, I just empty the box.
Since I have a special electric sharpener that I use, I only sometimes use the device for my pencils. However, the manufacturer does not recommend this product for it.
Without a doubt. When you want to correct or remove all sorts of things, even ink, the eraser is a very important tool. You should be careful when using a plastic or vinyl eraser, as they can easily tear paper if not used with care.
Selected User Reviews For Prismacolor Premier Colored Pencil Accessory Kit with Blenders and Erasers, 7-Piece Set, 7-Count
There is no better accessory kit out there! Blenders are great for getting things done easily and pencil extenders are a godsend! As well as the pencils, I love the erasers. Despite the fact that it was for markers, I did not use the marker blender for months. In addition to pencils, it is for pens. I have never had a problem with it! Using it for my artistic owl picture, I was able to use watercolor pencils beautifully. This is a must-have!.
In addition to the pencil extender, this is why I ordered it. No local ones were available (or if I did find some, others that I found online had negative Even for the price, the blender was a great deal! Using the extender was a great experience! It was uncomfortable to use my stubs with other pencils that I taped to (or tried to tape). The extender is also important to me because I have a few older CPs that I cannot find a matching one for, since they don't sell them anymore (Rose Art Bright). The fit was perfect for mine! Similarly, I also use Prismacolor cp's, but the RoseArt brand work well for me. CP's are awesome too. I use it most of the time with the blender. This blender tip is perfect for me, since it isn't too small or too small (I have had a hard time finding blenders as well, and one blender I have has a very fine tip). . . . AND on top of everything, I was blown away by how well the sharpener worked! However, this one is near perfect!
I don't need the other items that it comes with, but it still represents a great deal. Each piece would cost at least $5 or more if purchased separately, so the price was so low that I was astonished and decided to buy That really was a great score for me!.
It is one of the best pencil sharpeners. The trick to using it was known to me prior to arrival, or I might have given it a lower rating. needs to put the instructions right You should gently turn the sharpener around the pencil, instead of pushing the pencil too hard in. Try holding the pencil lightly in your left hand while holding the sharpener in your right hand. If you shove the pencil in the sharpener and then crank the sharpener as hard as you can, you'll end up with a very messy situation. Your pencils will get chewed up and all of your pigment will be wasted. You will get amazing results if you are gentle with the sharpener while allowing it to do the work for you It's just a little trick that you should remember. Thank you so much for giving it to me.
There are two holes in this sharpener I will deal with a narrow focus while the other will deal with a broader perspective. It is awesome that there is a sharpener and blender.
Even after blending as much as I thought possible, it's completely smooth, but I wasn't happy until I tried the blending marker from Prisma. CTP is broken down so well that I'm able to wipe away any pigment that was left behind. In addition, it moved the pigment around perfectly to blend according to the way you used it. It probably won't take me too long to figure out how to use it as a blender even though I'm using it to improve my painting. You can do so much with it! I am at ease knowing that I now have a tool in my arsenal that can help me achieve perfection after spending so many hours working on a masterpiece! My kneaded eraser has been shaped into a teardrop, which allows me to use it to create everything from thin lines for hair to dabbing off tiny pinpoint imperfections of graphite accumulation on paper to use the rounder end for highlighting large areas. The fact that I hold it in my hand while drawing makes it very flexible. A hard eraser is something that I would have never bought on my own. As well as its various benefits, I have enjoyed them. You can easily keep tight angles by cutting it. It erases well and can be cleaned easily. The darkest graphite I own is a 4B, therefore I doubt I'll use the ebony pencil, but it's good to have on hand. This extender is also of.
Despite the fact that I never used most of the items included in the first box, I loved the second one so much. When compared with what you would spend if you bought the items separately, buying this kit is sometimes a better deal. As a person who often goes through blender pencils, this was definitely worth the price for me, as well as the blender marker that came with it. As an added bonus, there is a pencil holder included.
Only the pencil extender in this set enticed me to buy this set. It makes me so sad to think how much Prismacolor was wasted I cry for all the usable colors that were still available. There is never a time when you don't need an eraser or an extra graphite pencil in this set. A pencil extender set came in at a cheaper price than one at my local BIG Chain art supply store, so great value for the money.
The set includes a blender pencil, a blender pen, graphite pencil, a pencil extender, a plastic eraser, and a moldable eraser. I think this is a decent set of the price, especially given that you can purchase the individual pieces for a much lower price. To go with my 48-inch set, I got this set I have a Prisma colored pencil set containing a count and it works great with it. The set has other things that are better than others. As with most sets, some things are better It is easy to blend color pencils with both blenders. For the purpose of extending the life of coloring pencil sets, the pencil lengthener is a good choice. One of the two erasers is more useful than the other because it can be molded, but the other can be used straightforwardly as well. This pencil sharpener, which is the only basic part of the set, seems to be the weakest point. I have found better quality sharpeners out there, but it does the job OK. I give this a 4 out of 5.
