As far as I know, no.
I have spoken with my daughter, who has tried several types, and she says they hold up pretty well. It is clear that she likes them a lot.
You can use it without worrying about acid. There is no PH difference between ink and paper.

There is no doubt that these Uni pins are my favorites! The ink has remarkable pigment, is smooth, does not smudge or smear, and lasts much longer than any other ink! Having used many pens in my lifetime, I am a pen lover. These were the first set of these I ever bought, and I have been drawing with them daily for almost a year. They are still in pristine condition, even the print on the outside remains These pens are AWESOME, thank you for giving them to me!.
My profession is that of a coloring book illustrator, and I have been going through a variety of fineliners to identify MY favorite As for products, I have purchased and used Staedtler pigment liners as well as Micron Pigmas, Copic Multiliners, and Faber-Castell inks. Write with a Castell Pitt Artist Pen. Every pen has elements that I enjoy, but none has led me to believe that I should buy a second set now that I need a fresh batch. If you already have an account, sign in Only received them yesterday, but I enjoy holding them (I dislike Since my hands are perpetually dry, they slip right out of my hands), the black is what I prefer (Staedtler is too grey), and the lines sizes are quite varied. They came in a torn plastic bag that seemed sketchy - the pens came fully operational and seemingly new, but the bag was torn - Is the packaging new, where is the description of the products, why do they not have cases? However, I gave a low rating not to the pens themselves (which I do hope will be high quality, like I said, I just received them) but to the fact that the seller sent them looking like they had taken them from discarded (
I will keep the pens as they appear to be in good condition. However, if they run out of money over the next few weeks, you can bet that I will demand a refund! A company called OMGHOWCHEAP Ltd. was the seller.
It seems that the pens I get have been used before, as they were certainly used. The pens came in a beat up plastic bag and the outside of the pens were greasy, as if they had been handled. They were also scratched on a few of them. These tester pens might have a lower amount of ink if they were tester pens. If you want 100% brand new pens, you should purchase them from a different seller.
The brand of pens I've been using for 6+ years is why I had to buy new pens for the second time in my life. In my opinion, 3 years for one set of pens is still quite good value! Only one or two of my old pens were truly "worn out". If you are considering purchasing these pens, just a note before I discovered this brand, I usually bought and used Micron or Copic branded fine liners, but these exceed their quality and durability by a long way.
Ink liners worked better for me because my old ones faded over time when I erased pencil marks. In the picture you can see how barely faded the lines are after they are erased, and you can even see the line after it is erased 1 The number of times is four. This is my first purchase from Amazon. I am extremely satisfied with it.
It is not clear to me if it is the angle I hold the pen or the amount of pressure I apply, but I find that the ultra fine Micron pens that everybody seems to love just don't With these, the nibs are a little longer and I find they go through my hands so much smoother. It has never happened to me to have a gray line or hit the metal part of the tip with these. The fine liners I use now are my favorite.
I bought these pens on a whim. They are nearly dried out on 2 of them. The other is pretty much drier than the first. It looks like I'm going to have to use the biggest one, which is a bummer since that is the one I really needed. In like manner to Micron pens, which I previously discovered when I purchased brand new, there were some dried out or nearly dried out pens as well. So far I've tried to place them with the pen point facing down to see if this would cause the ink to But nothing seems to be happening. The Uni ball pens have the small points that I need, but they do not have the very small points that I need. My pen of choice will be the rapideograph. A bummed out experience.
No, they aren't as easy to wash as your hands I have found the 0 to be as resistant as advertised, and on my first use of it. When the marker hit 8 years old, the point started drying out and almost falling apart. The ink was dark when it was still coming out, and before the mark started drying out, it still held its colors. I also noticed that I began using ink where it was less visible, then stopped using it where it was more visible, because the less ink I used, the more brown it got.
