It's giving time! decided to give it a go. I was regretfully faced with a brand new and very full bottle of ink. During the process of filling the pen, I got ink on my fingers and of course on the As I thought, I had no problems In my case, the ink would come off the same day I treated it. The answer is no. Even though I tried wood cleaner and other cleaners I had on hand, the ink stain still shows through. The first thing I notice is how it writes. I like that. How on earth do you design a pen that doesn't damage ink easily? Is it possible to apply one more coat of varnish? A dirty pen would look even worse if I hadn't been able to clear it up as soon as possible. It would have made no sense to buy it if I had known beforehand.

It is not uncommon for me to have multiple resin fountain pens - Having never owned a "wood" pen, this is my first ever attempt. The delivery was on schedule and it was everything I hoped for. It's amazing how the iridium tip works so well- There is a calligraphic tone to it, which makes it very smooth. As well as for the signature in word documents, I have used it to make marginal notes in my novels. Easy to fill, smooth and no blotting. The only drawback I can see is Bamboo's cover cap generally rests directly on the pen body when the pen is opened for writing, which is likely a characteristic of the material. When writing, it's impossible to get that extra "give" to snug it up at the end. The closure of this snap is authoritarian and the ink has not dried. It is a great product I am glad I purchased.
