Questions & Answers
In a padded envelope, I found a single Sharpie. I had placed an order for 12 people. After going back and forth with them, I finally received the following response regarding whether or not I would receive all 12 if I reordered the 12-pack: br>br>We apologize for the inconvenience, but this product will not be reordered from us. Please refer this product to another vendor who might be able to fulfill your request.br>br>So don't order the 12 pack because they won't ship you 12.
A minimum order of three packs of three pens is required.
South Korea is where the Sharpie RT Permanent Markers are made.
It depends; it can write on ziplock bags and paper luggage tags, but it can also be easily wiped off other hard, glossy surfaces. Allow a few seconds for it to dry completely before proceeding.

It'll start writing again, as if nothing had happened!.
The ultra fine point, according to reports, should produce a line with a width of 0. 2 mm. I tried one previously, and it was a complete failure. 2 mm tip. The ones I got, on the other hand, have a line of about 1. 0 mm. br>"ULTRA FINE POINT" is written on both the box and the individual units. That isn't the case.
I've used sharpies for years and enjoy them, but I'd never tried the retractable ones before. It seemed like a good idea worth trying, but the first two markers I used barely wrote, so I put them all to the test (see photo). Only four of the twelve students wrote in black; the others were faded and dried out. We've ordered a replacement to see if the problem was due to a bad box or a bad product.
April 2015 purchase of Sanford Sharpie Ultra Fine Point Retractable Markers in black ink.
Pros: br>When dry, ink is remarkably long-lasting. Sharpie Markers with a porous tip produce the narrowest line width. br>Unlike other Sharpies, this pen is comfortable to hold and allows for finer movement control. br>br>My Cons (Perhaps Pros for others depending on their intended use. ) )br>When using a Sharpie Marker on regular copier paper, the line width grows only slightly as the ink dries, leaving a relatively narrow line width. Please keep in mind that different brands of markers or pens produce much finer lines. br>While the bleed in line width is moderate and tolerable for most applications on copier paper, the bleed in depth, as measured by the thickness of the paper, is quite aggressive, bleeding through one to three or four sheets depending on how fast or slow the marker is moving. On art paper, the bleed characteristic is stronger, and it can result in a slightly irregular shape at the line's edge, which can be beneficial if the artist is aware of the effect and uses it to their advantage. br>br>To be fair to Sharpie, it was user comments that led me to believe the ink would not bleed when I bought it. It does not claim this after receiving the packaging. In fact, there's an advertisement for a different Sharpie product on the back of the blister wrap card, which appears to be another retractable marker called Sharpie PEN vice Ultra Fine Marker. "No Bleed," says a Sharpie PEN ad. Resistant to smears. " I take this to mean that the ink is less permanent, but the bleed factor has been reduced or eliminated. Perhaps I'll look for one to try before ordering more. br>I hope this helps to better define the characteristics of the excellent Sharpie Ultra Fine Marker.
I bought these specifically to write on specimen labels at work, and they're fantastic! They don't smear! Unlike most pens and markers, these ones don't smear on glossy paper or labels. These are fantastic. They don't show up on regular paper and don't bleed. I wish there were more colors available for these ultra fine tip retractable markers.
it is possible to return it Unlike another reviewer, I found that the markers did indeed run through the paper to the other side, and that they are not, as claimed, permanent on plastic. Finally, they are non-returnable, despite the fact that this information is not included in the listing. It isn't even mentioned until the return process has started. The markers appear to be flammable! It never occurred to me that markers might be flammable, but since they are and this is one of the reasons they can't be returned, one would think the fact would be noted in the listing. These are what I bought to label the contents of plastic travel containers. Yes, they can write on plastic, but even after the ink has dried, it is easily removed. I'm completely dissatisfied with them, and I'm unable to return them!.
This retractable marker is slightly more expensive than the capped ultra fine tip, but it does offer the benefit of not having to remove the cap. The disadvantages outnumber the advantages by a large margin. This marker is only good for a couple of hours. There's no way to tell how long they'll last. I can complete a standard 1000-piece puzzle by writing three letters on each puzzle piece. My second puzzle dries out about a quarter of the way through, so I'm down to about 1250 pieces and only writing three letters on each one. Also, the large barrel is not ergonomic; I get a lot of leg cramps and have to stop and start over and over again, and I can't finish a single puzzle. br>br>I bought the capped ultra fine marker and it gives me no hand cramps, so I can easily complete one puzzle without stopping. Also, just like the battery bunny, the capped marker ink goes on and off. I'm on my fourth or fifth puzzle now, and I'm still working with the same marker.
The other colors are drier, such as have less ink, than the black, red, and blue in this package (and sold separately). I expect it to be short-lived. I've been using all of the retractables since they first came out, and the ultra fine often takes the place of a pen for me. I buy boxes of black, or packs of black/red/blue, whenever the prices are lower. I was drawn to the colors because I frequently 'color code' my notes. It's easier to read at a glance, and the slightly bolder appearance compared to a pen makes it easier to read in general if your eyesight isn't great. So ten stars for all other Sharpie retractables, ultra and fine, but I'll steer clear of the "fun colors" in the future. I've never had a problem with any of the other colors in the 'fine' retractable, only these. These markers have come in handy for me, especially if you write (on paper) a lot like I do and need to read something quickly. They stand out a little more than a pen. Sorry, but I adore these things and include them in other people's Christmas stockings and birthday boxes, along with'super sticky' post-it notes! Any useful information I come across is something I'm happy to share. (And the ultra fine works well for zentangle, especially if you're doing it in a waiting room or similar situation; however, you can zentangle on any paper you have on hand. ) ) All right, that's it for now.
