Questions & Answers

Are these the ones that smell like old mimeograph ink and reek? It's not a bad thing, but it's necessary to be aware of the situation. Is it possible that one of my workers is allergic to the odor?

To me, all Sharpies have a strong odor of breakfast foods. One of mine has a pancake scent to it. It's strange, but I try to avoid smelling them.

Can you confirm whether this is a single marker or a dozen markers for the price of $ 8? 08 ?

I only got one marker instead of the 12 it said I would get. I am extremely dissatisfied; had I known their description was false, I would have ordered locally for a similar price and faster delivery.

What is the line's maximum width in millimeters?

The width is the same as all wide-width pens, with the exception that there is more ink.

Is xylene present in these products? I'm looking for a large quantity of xylene markers, preferably black. ?

It's not an aluminum barrel like the one in the picture! As of 03/04/2019, the items I received were NOT aluminum barrels, which is a major Amazon misrepresentation
3/5

I purchased it primarily because I wanted the aluminum barrels to be more durable, but when I opened the package, I felt cheated and angry because it was all plastic pens. Thank you, Amazon; please update the product images now.

Although the price is attractive, the quality is inadequate
3/5

These were purchased for art projects, but after only a few minutes of use, the new markers were completely dry. The markers weren't completely dry at this point, but because the ink does not flow well from the reservoir to the tip, they will appear "dry" after a few minutes of use unless you work very slowly. You can shake the marker by holding the end opposite the tip, but be careful not to remove the cap too quickly, or you'll get a spray of permanent black ink. Something appears to be wrong with the ink. br>br> The problem of banding exists. The more traditional metal-based music These markers aren't much better than any generic markers you might find at Walmart, Office Max, or Staples. br>br>Cased King Size Sharpies that have been around for decades are far superior, hard to find, and more expensive. br>br>These markers aren't much better than any generic markers you might find at Walmart, Office Max, or Staples. Good value for money in bulk
5/5

These were primarily purchased for the purpose of blacking out addresses and other information on labels. For a long time, I've used Sharpie Chisel markers, and they've generally worked well, unless the label is made of a material to which it couldn't adhere (glossy labels). ) These appear to have the same capability as these, as far as I can tell. When purchasing in bulk, this is a good deal. However, it's unclear how long these will last in comparison to the Chisels. br>br>For the time being, I'm giving it 5 stars because they're performing just as well as my other Sharpies and came in bulk for a low price.

A total ruse
3/5

The barrel is what distinguishes the chisel tip Sharpies from these "King Size" forgeries. I was expecting the king size tips to be similar to the old Magnum markers, but they are significantly smaller. They won't work for what I had in mind, so I'm very disappointed. Also, Amazon will not accept returns on these due to the nature of the product, so I'm out of luck. Be wary of these high-priced impostors and stay away from them.

It's the real deal
5/5

This particular marker is one of my favorites, which is why I gave it five stars. I'm a big fan of the color blue, so I bought the box set. It was getting a little ridiculous to keep buying the assortment pack just to get the blue. The color is vibrant and lasts for quite some time before it fades. It will take about a month. In my case, I use the marker frequently throughout the day. br>My only criticism is that more tape should have been added to the top and bottom. This will prevent the problem from arising after the shipment has been completed.

The quality of the advice is poor
3/5

I'm drawing a large poster with these markers, and it took three markers to complete one picture. After only a few lines, the tip of the first marker was pushed in. The second one performed admirably for about 15 minutes before running out of ink. The third one completed the task, but the felt tip is frayed and I am unable to draw a straight line with it. br>br>I saw this same box of sharpies for $25 at Staples (and that is what it shows on Amazon). Is it possible that they're the same markers? Is the quality and longevity of the product the same? Is it possible to get a refund if I bought them at Staples? br>br>It's a waste of money to go through three markers for one poster.

Sharpies are the old standby for making posters and marking outdoor items in BOLD for those of us who live in the country
5/5

haha! PLEASE tape the box to keep the markers from falling out at a great price! Sharpies have never dried out for me and have lasted for years. It's smudge-proof and water-resistant. Just make sure there's something underneath what you're writing, especially if it's on your mother's dining room table. I'm never going to hear the end of that, and that was 50 years ago. LOL!.

I demand a refund of my funds! The marker pens have run out of ink
3/5

I was dissatisfied with the purchased product's performance and terms; it was a poor investment. These are the products I use for fine art, and they are of poor quality. Perhaps the markers were not properly stored, or they are old and obsolete. I'd like my money back because it's not fresh! A number of markers have dried out. The first maker I opened was completely dried up when I first opened the box. I pressed my finger against the tip to see if it was the dried surface. I discovered that a few other markers are experiencing the same issue. The marker is devoid of both fluid and ink. Some of them work fine, but the majority of them are defective or have ink issues. Attempting to purchase at Home Depot, I discovered a better deal. They are not available for purchase in this location. I use these products for fine art, where I require the highest level of consistency in my mark making. The semi-dried makers' strokes are choppy and inconsistent. I made several attempts to contact the seller but was unable to do so. Please shop around for these markers because I was dissatisfied with the performance and conditions of the one I bought. It was a poor investment decision. These are the products I use for fine art, and they are of poor quality. Perhaps the markers were not properly stored, or they are old and obsolete. Not fresh.
