Questions & Answers

Are these washable markers that can be used to write on pumpkins by children?

Any washable product we offer will have a washable claim prominently displayed on the packaging and/or disclosed in the product details on the Brand's website. These markers are designed for flip chart papers in terms of surface type. If pumpkins are used, the outcome cannot be guaranteed. Despite being AP Certified, we do not recommend using our markers on areas of items that may come into contact with food or the mouth.

Do they scribble on plastic bags that will be kept in the freezer?

I wouldn't use them to write on plastic.

Is there a distinct odor to these markers?

"They don't have a particularly strong odor." I always use them in the classroom for our flip chart and have never noticed any odor. The tips are slightly fine, but the colors are bold and vibrant, making them ideal for anchor charts.

Is it possible to erase these markers if they are used on a solid white (grease) board by accident?

Expo markers aren't the same as these. If they were used on a white board, you may need to clean them with something like alcohol.

This is a fantastic investment! These chart markers have always been a favorite of mine to use in the classroom
5/5

When writing on chart paper, it appears that the bullet tip is the best choice. All of the colors, especially the one in the purple casing, are extremely vibrant. Although appearances may deceive, it writes in a lovely pink, bright pink color (as shown in the photo). The markers glide across the chart paper with ease and do not bleed through. They're a hit with my students, and they're a hit with me. Take a look at the photo I've attached to get a sense of the colors used in each marker.

These are fantastic! I'm a first-year teacher, and I'm so glad I came across these resources
5/5

For me, writing with regular markers on flip chart paper is no longer an option. For some reason, regular markers did not work well on flip chart paper. When I was looking for some much-needed supplies, I came across these for less than $5 and decided to give them a try. I'm glad I took the chance. These are extremely easy to write with and do not fade while in use. All students will be able to see the colors because they are bright and bold. They have a long lifespan and are a fantastic value! I'm going to go get some more before school starts up again.

Markers that work well with FlipCharts and Posters
5/5

These markers were fantastic. I was in the middle of teaching a class and needed to prepare some materials. I made flip charts as well as flipcharts on which I would write during class. These markers were extremely bright and wrote very legibly (i. e. The nib does not fray). They glided across the page (no strange stuttering or skipping) and have remained quite 'juicy' despite the amount of use I've given them. I was also surprised that, despite being so juicy, they did not bleed through to the other pages in the flipcharts. However, there was some ghosting through the paper on the backside every now and then. Granted, it's possible that this is due to the type of paper used on the charts, but it was still unexpected. br> When the time comes, I'll definitely buy more of these.

The $6 was well spent
5/5

These markers are fantastic for me as a teacher! They write so smoothly, aren't scratchy, and don't drag on the paper when they write - They move with ease!! In addition, the colors are extremely vivid. To extend the life of the batteries, I store them upside down. I'll buy them again if I need them. br>br>10/2016 Update: The same set of markers that I bought two years ago is still in my possession. I use these markers at least twice a week, and the ink is only now running out. I came back to order more and decided to update my review after learning how to store them upside down. These markers are still one of my favorites. br>br>In my school, the Mr. Sketch markers are another cult favorite. For writing on charts, I believe that the Sharpie markers are far superior to the Mr. Sketch markers. They are much smoother and glide across the paper much better than Mr. Sketch markers. I believe that the smell of the Mr. Sketch markers is what attracts the majority of people. I'll admit that I prefer the Mr. Sketch when I require a finer tip (for example, when writing small on a chart). Sharpie markers aren't ideal for this because they only come in one width. br>br>At the time of writing, the price for the 8-pack of these markers on Amazon is $9. 99. The cost of the pack is $5. 52 is a significant number. I went to Walmart and saw that the 4-pack is that price. pack. It was well worth the investment!.

There are no better chart markers available
5/5

These are a steal at this price, considering they're at least $9 at Staples. Anchor charts require the use of these markers. I can't imagine not having these as a teacher. The colors are vibrant, and I think it's a good idea to include two blacks in the package. These were originally given to me as a gift, and I've been purchasing them as gifts for my other teacher friends because they're so useful. When it comes to bleed through, these markers are the best; they almost never bleed. I only wish they had a chisel tip instead of a bullet tip because they bleed when you press down really hard, but that won't stop me from buying them every time they start to fade! I'm hoping Sharpie will release more colors in the future, but for now, the options are fantastic. This is an absolute must-have for any teacher or anyone who needs to write on chart paper.

Just be careful what kind of paper you use with these
3/5

When you use a regular marker on a shiny piece of paper and it doesn't work out, you know what I'm talking about. On card stock, these markers do the same thing. I'm not sure if it has anything to do with the type of paper. It isn't glossy or laminated. I was perplexed by the matte. Before I get to this one, I reach for my other markers.

Not bad at all, but
3/5

This year, I'm writing our morning poem on chart paper, which, according to the package, does not bleed. They did, however! They do have a nice writing style. br> However, before I could write, I had to separate the papers with two file folders. I wasn't squeezing them or coloring with them in any way! They don't have a strong odor, which is a plus.

Closer handwriting with a round tip marker! These are fantastic markers
3/5

These are fantastic for charts, posters, and other visuals in the classroom. For closer handwriting, I prefer the round marker tip over the chisel.
