Questions & Answers

Is there a range of colors available with these markers?

The markers I bought were all the same color and came in a box of 12. I placed an order for a 12-piece blue box, a 12-piece red box, and a 12-piece green box. I couldn't pass up the opportunity to have these for my classroom because the price per marker was so low.

Is it possible to use these markers on a mirror?

I don't see why they couldn't be used on mirrors; they could probably be used on any surface. You could give it a shot and then remove it. If it doesn't come off, rubbing alcohol can be used to remove it.

Is it possible to use these on matte-finish surfaces? finished laminate (as long as it's a light-colored laminate) a laminate that is colored) ?

It is going to work. Dry erase markers can be used on most non-porous surfaces. Whiteboards, porcelain, melamine, and glass are examples of porous materials.

There are no tops on the markers! They are not to be used! I'm a teacher, so I was really looking forward to trying out my new markers
3/5

When I received the bag, I was a little disappointed to find that the box had been folded up and they had been shipped in a bag, with all of the markers loose in the bottom. Furthermore, when I got them to my classroom and started taking the tops off to try them on, I was dismayed to discover that over two-thirds of them were missing. Three-quarters of the markers had no writing tips, rendering them useless, and this is unacceptable. I had hoped for more from Amazon! Now I'm going to have to start the year without any markers!.

MY BOARD IS BLACK NOW THAT THESE HAVE DRIED OUT
3/5

I assumed that storing these markers on the side or tip would solve the problem, but I now have an entire box of markers that have never worked since day one. Something is obviously wrong with this batch or the way they store them prior to shipping. Perhaps it's because it's too hot and dry? I wish I could go back in time and return them as soon as possible. Instead, for the past few months, I've made do with the darkest one I could find (I don't use black very often), hoping that storing them flat would solve the problem. I tried storing them on their sides as well. It just feels scratchy and dry because it's so thick. Despite the fact that they're doing such a bad job. They also smeared my board to the point where I had to use a board cleaner spray several times, wipe dry, and repeat until the black smear was gone. Expo is the last thing I'll ever buy. There are cheaper brands that work WAY better, as I discovered with a Shuttle Art rainbow pack. Store should be tipped over.

It stinks bad and dries quickly, so it's not worth the money
3/5

Expo markers are normally a favorite of mine. Expo is normally my go-to brand as a teacher who writes on the board frequently because I know the colors are dark and last a long time; however, I usually purchase the regular Expo markers. This is my first time using the product's low-odor version, and I'm extremely disappointed. br>br>I bought a 12-pack of these markers in black because I go through a lot of black markers in a semester and thought the price on that particular set was great. I was anticipating the Low-cost option. I expected the Odor markers to be of the same high quality as the Expo dry erase markers that I usually use. However, based on my personal experience with these, I would strongly advise against using them. br>br>Ironically, the first thing I noticed about these Low-Intensity Discharge (Low-Intensity) Discharge (Low-Intensity Discharge) Discharge (L The smell is referred to as odor markers. I'm not sure if it's because I'm used to the smell of traditional Expo markers, but these are much stronger. They have a strong chemical/alcohol odor that doesn't go away quickly while I'm writing on the board. br>br>However, my biggest gripe with these markers is that they dry up so quickly, even when not in use. I tested all of the markers when they arrived in the box. They all worked, or at least they did for a while. Even those that had remained uncapped in the box in my desk after two months were completely unusable. I ended up throwing away the majority of the contents of the box before I had the opportunity to use them. I'm not sure what the issue is in this case. I'm sure there's something in the Low-Income Housing Market. The markers dry out much faster than regular Expos because of the odor-free formula. It's also possible that I was given out-of-date merchandise. br>br>I'd also like to point out that this issue isn't limited to black markers. I ordered a second set of Expo 2 Low-Vis Low-Vis low-vis low-vis low-vis low Odor Markers in blue, received them all at the same time, tested them all the same way, and threw the rest away as well. br>br>I would not recommend these markers to a friend, and I will not buy them again.

There is no comparison between price and quality
5/5

Expo dry erase markers are unrivaled in the industry. Ask any teacher, and they'll tell you the same thing. This price for expo dry erase markers is unbeatable. This was a great solution for an educator who doesn't want to use a lot of different colored markers. Apply rubbing alcohol to the tip of a marker if it begins to "dry out. " It can usually revive the pen, but be careful - it can also kill it. If you purchase this box, keep it hidden in your cabinets; otherwise, your markers may wander away. The price point is fantastic. Expo dry erase markers will never be purchased again in a physical store. br>br>This would also be a great way to end the night. a year's gift I know I would be overjoyed if a student gave this to me instead of food or chocolate or something else.

It's all dried up! Returns are not accepted! I'm let down
3/5

Terrible! I wish there were a way for me to give it a zero! There is no exchange or refund policy for markers that are too dry or light to see or read! I'm extremely disappointed! I've been buying EXPO markers for over 20 years and have never seen any "new" markers that are as dry and worthless as these! I'm not sure I'd buy them again if I had the money. I really like the purple markers, but I'm not going to buy them from this store again! I'll upload a photo later if it's possible!.

Two markers are missing and the surface is drying quickly
3/5

For a couple of years, I've been purchasing the black. There are 12 markers in the box, which comes in an actual expo box. This time I ordered blue, and they arrived in a solid white box. The markers appear to be drying out already, and I only received 10 instead of the 12 I had ordered.

WHAT ON EARTH ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT? Oh, my goodness! These are not the same expo dry erase markers that I'm used to seeing in public schools
3/5

When I took them out of the box, they were mostly dried out. And, of course, even when we were careful to keep the tops on properly, they didn't last long for my son or myself. br>br>I'm sorry to say it, but I won't be buying these from this seller again. Instead, I'll probably go to an office supply store and buy them there. These appear to be quite old, having sat around for quite some time prior to being sold.

Arrived with a crack
3/5

My package arrived today with the box ripped open inside the envelope, and some of the markers had broken lids and some had the bottom pieces broken out, causing the markers to dry out.
