Purchase completed two years later. For the record, I have the same dimensions as Ellen. There have been no changes to the dimensions.
The length of the eraser is described as "oversized." The hole is approximately 7mm in diameter and can accommodate a standard pencil. br>I'm afraid I won't be able to get it to fit a pencil with a 12mm diameter.
These erasers disappointed me because they don't work very well.
The label on my 2015 package reads, "Made in China." The material is of good quality, and the molding is well done.

I work as a teacher in the public school system. This is the third grade. The students go through a lot of erasers! The helix appeals to me because the white eraser is much more effective than the colored ones at erasing. I've tried a lot of different white caps, and these are the best. I've tried cheaper alternatives, but they're smaller, harder to work with (causing holes in the kids' papers), and occasionally fall off the pencil. None of that is the case with these. In my opinion, the best eraser on the market! Because I'm also an artist, I'm very particular about erasers not leaving marks!.
I've been using these for a few years because they do the job well, just like high-quality erasers. These aren't your typical cheap erasers with a cute design. These erasers do a great job of cleaning up after themselves. They don't leave any dark smudges on my math homework or other important documents, which is especially important when it comes to making them readable. True, when the tips of these eraser caps are nearly used up, they may gradually break, but I've had that experience with every eraser cap I've ever used. These Helix Hi-Fi speakers are a great addition to any home. The money spent on polymer erasers is well spent.
The white tip is a hit with the grandkids, and it's cheaper than Walmart. This eraser is fantastic and lasts a long time. It isn't split in any way. My grandson is autistic, and my granddaughter has special needs. Both suffer from dysgraphia, a brain-to-hand nerve ending interruption, and the teenager prefers the small pencil for her artwork and the white tip because it never flips off, never splits, and she can see how much she has erased from her artwork in her high school closet. The eraser tip goes on the cut end of the pencil after I cut it in half. Then there are two pencils in my possession. I only purchase that particular brand of pencil.
My son was the recipient of this purchase. On his schoolwork, he frequently erases. He claims they work fine, but warns that if the pencil's original eraser is worn out and he replaces it with these, the pencil's metal eraser holder will cut right through the add-on eraser. To avoid this, he now wears these before the eraser on his pencil wears out.
I was initially concerned that the markings were caused by pen marks, but I am relieved to learn that the erasers are effective. I have books that I purchased and I despise it when people write in them. The erasers haven't caused any issues for me. They were only recently purchased. I'm thinking about purchasing a second pack. They never broke, and I never used a pencil to push them onto.
It was a huge let down.
The material was described as stiff by some reviewers. The batch from LD Products that I received in December 2015 works perfectly. The material was stiff, according to some reviewers, and split easily. Mine were adaptable and erased cleanly. Because the package says "Made in China," I suppose you take a chance with poor quality control and some batches turn out bad, or perhaps they sat on the shelf for too long. But the batch I got was fine, and they were only $3. 65 with free shipping and 8 days to arrive in perfect condition. I used them jammed on to mechanical pencils, which puts undue stress on the eraser's base, which is designed to slip on an ordinary wood pencil, but they're holding up without splitting. A batch of Eraser Caps 206-200 from Office Depot. pink, 503 Within one day, the orange (also made in China) split. Those are definitely a waste of time. br>br>My old go-to is Paper Mate Arrowhead Pink Cap Erasers (73015), but they only come in a pack of 144. In comparison to the Arrowhead (1"), the Helix is 1 1/4" longer overall. The erased page in the Helix version has fewer eraser crumbs.
This is fantastic. They don't smear and aren't too hard or soft. They don't fall off the pencil because they split. With a regular (graphite?) pencil, this works well. Colored pencils work well with them, though they require a little more effort. Overall, this is a fantastic product that performs admirably for its intended purpose.
