Questions & Answers

Is it possible to use it with 2" tape as well?

According to the picture, it sounds like it could hold a

Is there anyone who has encountered loosening after changing out the tape roll a few times and wasn't able to retighten it?

The tensioner on two of our tape guns behaves badly. I am very familiar with its use and the tape area continues to spin even when the tensioner is fully tightened/locked down. It was disappointing.

Is it possible to run a roll of 150 yards of tape through this?

You can. Just make sure your interior diameter (the hole in the lid) The roll I am using is 110 yards long. The room is large enough to accommodate larger rolling crates A measurement of 1 11.2 inches is considered as the distance from the edge of the tape spindle to the nearest metal bar With my 110 yd roll, there's still a little bit of space left. That makes sense, I hope.

Can you give me a diagram that shows the correct loading of ULINE h596 tapes?

As far as I know, there is no diagram. YouTube is a good place to see how the website is displayed

I have a few questions about the Blue Tape Gun The turning point has arrived
5/5

I grew up with the Blue Tape Gun legend. A former employee of an off-campus manufacturing facility Our campus textbook store was a hot spot, and we all fought over this. As I was packing the bags, I wanted to go to the store for tape, but I didn't have a gun. As soon as I bought it, the clouds parted. And as soon as I saw that, a flower appeared - We rolled out the window. The scent of the breeze welcomed us. Birds began to sing.

We taped up the boxes. I believe that they were filmed. I was delighted at the ease, efficiency, and joy that they were taped. applies adhesive extremely well, is easy to use, and is trustworthy as heck. It is truly one of the most coveted and highly coveted adhesive-applying items.

It is a solid construction, but a horrible design
3/5

Despite the tape's best efforts, it won't stay on the wall. Lead boxer in a warehouse is what I do. A typical day for me involves taping about 1000 boxes. You will have to tape them shut after you fill them with product and ship them. A very important aspect of speed is a fast response time. I believe this design of the gun fails miserably in this regard. Despite its appeal, tape is never able to stay on rollers. The tape must be kept from floating after every box so you need to pay attention to it constantly. An item of this nature should happen very rarely on a quality firearm. It's understandable once in a while, but it's ridiculous all the time. Recently, I purchased two Tach It EX3 guns and I am blown away by them! Never does the tape ever get out of place! My favorite thing about them is that they're so easy to use that I'll continue to make use of I apologize U Line, but your product keeps me from doing my job because I have to keep fiddling with tape that doesn't stay put. Rather than buying this one, buy this one.

This is legit
5/5

The tape gun I use at work all the time is a 3" tape gun, and at first I wondered why anyone would want one? That's what you do, I guess! I really like this tape gun over my 2" tape gun that I found at Lowe's or Home Depot for $12. It's very sturdy and you can go crazy with tape with this. If you came here because of that 2” tape gun I mentioned, be sure to pick up one of these and some tape since it doesn't come with any. As long as you don't break the clear plastic thing or the tensioner knob, it's a good investment! Despite both being broken, it may still be able to be used in that case, it can be referred to as retired.

The old faithful friend I can always count on
5/5

I still don't know what I'd do without it. Until I was a shipping manager for 5 years, I used to ship out two shipments a month out of the one at the top of the picture that I had since 2004 (14 years). Approximately 300 boxes a day are processed. My steadfast buddy had to go with me when I left in 2009! I don't expect to ever have to replace any of these tape guns if I take good care, use proper techniques and maintain them.

Tapes that are 3'' long work well
4/5

It works well with three inch tape and has a nice short handle to make it easy to handle. For 2" tape, I have a tape gun similar to that. With that one, however, the tape remains attached to the As far as this one goes, it almost never makes those kinds of landings and flops all over the place. Since the same style in 2" does not behave this way, I am not certain if it is just me. As far as I'm concerned, I still recommend it since it works well and is easy to use. The tape should be paired with 'Packing Tape, 3 Inch X 110 Yard 2. ' 4" x 6" Crystal Clear Heavy Duty Tape By Uline, is available in a pack of four. At the moment I cannot locate the link, but you can get that on Amazon as well. It wouldn't matter to the average amazon user because they probably don't need 24 packs of tape, but if you do a lot of tape then you could order a case direct from Uline.

Dispenser for packing tape from Uline
5/5

It was my hope that a 2" tape dispenser would prove to be more effective than my old, There was also a sample of the best tape I have ever used with it. My next trip to the same store was to purchase more tape, but they did not have the 2" tape separately, only the 3", so I bought several knowing I would have to purchase a dispenser for the 3". It is much quieter than the two-inch dispenser I purchased previously. I am very pleased with it. The tape dispenser allows me to tape my packages using only one hand, unlike the old dispenser which required me to pull out the tape with my right hand while holding it with my left. I would then hold the tape onto the package while pulling the dispenser with my left hand until I was finished. Having to send packages on a regular basis, the Uline has been a wonderful asset to me. Having finally found the perfect tape and dispenser, I now know how to use them. This is a quiet and simple device.

Do you know what I have Having spent more than $50,000 on Amazon in the past year, there have inevitably been return requests
5/5

It would have been easier to use one strip of 3 inch tape rather than two strips of 2 inch tape all the time. I always extend the 2 inches by 3 inches, so the process leaves me with After 3 decades of living, I have just discovered that 3 inch clear tape exists. Or, I guess I'm just old for only learning of its existence after 3 decades of living. My previous employer didn't have such good tape guns. I used to work for a UPS hub. It fits perfectly in my hands due to its ergonomic design. I have a problem when the tape leaves the gun and remains on it (it's irritating when the tape feels like it's shooting out of the gun, or vice versa when it gets stuck to the gun and won't.

A great value for the money
5/5

It was great to work with this fella as I just packed literally hundreds of boxes. This one and a cheaper Mr Pen were available to us. We all competed to see who could dominate the Uline, so I got a second one and gave the Mr Pens to friends. In addition, you should purchase 3" tape by Uline. Comparing the two is impossible. I am not sure why, but the thick 3m "Heavy Duty" tapes don't work at all (they do not adhere to Uline stuff is the only thing to get. It's thinner and smells a bit. This note applies A solvent in the adhesive is responsible for the smell, which helps to get a good seal. You are unlikely to be harmed by this product's solvents if you're concerned about it. There is a correlation between dose and effect, and this dose is very small.
