You might want to wait a bit longer for Elmer's glue if you've got extra time. The product is thinner and requires more activator, but I can assure you it works. We used this for a slime making girl scout project.

I used it and Elmer's to make my feux leather walls, and I really liked the look and feel of Amazon's glue better than Likewise, it adheres to the wall in a similar way to Elmer's.
