While I am working on projects, I use these to hold embroidery thread bobbins. As I often work on multiple projects at the same time, I need to hold the threads for each project separately, and these rings do the trick.
It is advertised that the rings have a 2 inch diameter and a 3 inch diameter. There is no truth to this. It seems the smaller ones have a diameter of two inches, but the larger ones are only two inches across. This is a 5 inch measurement rather than a 3 inch measurement. The other reviewers do not mention this discrepancy in their reviews, and it puzzles me. However, they are pretty good when it comes to quality.
Yup. I bought them to wear on my key ring, so that when I need to disconnect a key from my running car (without having to turn it off) I can still access my other car without fumbling around with my keys. The use of Book might seem silly to some Instead of KEY-rings, you should use rings for a key ring The RING is still attached to my keys, but this thing snaps off and on a lot easier (although, it still holds tightly), as I must switch them out very frequently.
My art journal got WAY TOO BIG while I was working on it! I was able to find the perfect solution in these rings! This is a super high-quality product. Mechanics were strong, and the joints were tightly snapped together! It's now possible to bind them with pretty ribbons.
I use them to organize my cross stitch threads while working on a project and they are just what I needed. It was a reasonable price and they were easy to open and close.
It is easy to open and close (but not so easy as to not keep A 3 x 1. 5 inch ring holds my 1,500+ pages loose leaf textbook together, while a 2 x 1. 5 inch ring holds my 900+ pages.
Despite being reasonably priced on the internet, this is one of the few extra large diameter book rings I could find. The materials are okay, but the hinge makes it difficult to open the rings. There is a possibility that this won't be an issue with time.
This is the third ring I have purchased. There is only one concern I have with these- some are very stiff and hard to open/close. Since I use them to store my cross stitch floss, I don't have to open them all the time, but I would love it if they were all easier to open.
