It comes with staples. After you've used it, you're supposed to throw it away and start over. It is no longer sterile if it has not been used.

I'm a nurse who uses professional at work, and this one is identical to the one I use there. I'll keep using it, and I have a plan to give first aid kits to my family for the holidays. Thank you very much.
The items arrived in good condition and in a timely manner. Both are contained in their own sterile sealed packages. These were ordered as part of our farm's emergency preparedness kit. and I sincerely hope we will never have to use them. However, if seconds matter in a human or animal injury, we have what we need to provide immediate care while also knowing that it is sterile; this is an item that everyone should have in their emergency kit. It's a small investment that could save a life, and it's the kind of thing you should have in your possession before you need it.
I work with wood, metals, and tools on a regular basis. br>br>I'm a bit of a butterfinger, unfortunately. br>br>As a result, I frequently require stitches for a variety of lacerations and punctures. br>I keep this in my kit in case I get an "oh crap" wound that I need to close on my way to an urgent care but can't do while driving. br>br>Of course, as I type this, it occurs to me that I should cover it with a pressure bandage and duct tape it shut until I can get proper medical attention. br>br>This should NOT be used in place of professional medical care or treatment. Before they can be closed, wounds must be properly irrigated and cleaned. br>br>In addition, without a local anesthetic, these are extremely painful.
I bought this to use on my dog's wound after he tore the stitches open while running. The staple remover looks good, and the stapler appears to work properly, but they're too small to be useful for much more than a paper clip.
Okay, so I mostly bought it for the staple REMOVER tool, but it was nice that it came with the staple gun as well, which I'll keep for emergencies. I used the staple remover to get rid of 13 staples that a real doctor had placed in my leg. I didn't want to go back to the clinic with all the Covid people to have the staples professionally removed because the Covid cases are so bad right now. The tool is SO EASY TO USE, and it's almost COMFORTABLE! For removal, I didn't require or require any numbing medication. Also, as other reviewers have mentioned, each item comes in its own sterile package, which is very convenient. There's also a zip-up bag. After opening it from the sterile package to use it, seal it in a bag to keep it clean and dust-free. Although it appears that both items are disposable, I will most likely use them on myself if necessary. To be honest, I never read the instructions that came with it; instead, I watched a few videos on YouTube about how to remove skin staples, and it was incredibly simple and straightforward.
(Thank you!) for the quick delivery. ) The product was packaged well. It is safe to carry in a backpack without fear of it opening and contaminating the contents. For the impending apocalypse, this is a great item to have on hand:.
I'm hoping that I'll never need these emergency supplies. We bought two, one for farm animal injuries and the other in case we were hurt. Having worked in the medical field, I can tell you that these are much faster and easier to use than sutures.
Cost-effective and especially useful during a disaster or emergency. It's not a fun item, but it's much easier to use on animals and people than sutures. Some knowledge can be beneficial. It's simple to include in a first-aid kit.
