Selected User Reviews For Amazon Basics Steno Books, 6" x 9", Gregg Rule, Green Paper, 80 Sheets, 12-Pack
Not every Amazon essential is trustworthy. Amazon Basics is of poor quality. Knowing that these note books were purchased at a premium, I am extremely dissatisfied. Because the pages are so thin, gel pens waste more than one page beneath them.
As advertised, the pages are not perforated. It has a *very* light green tint to it. The cover is made of flimsy cardboard on both the front and back sides.
The coil wire binding at the top is "punched" into them. When you rip a page out, the top is a mess. This, however, is not a flaw in the product; rather, it is incorrectly described. Personally, I've never used a steno pad that had perforated pages. It's still a good pad, though. br>br>Original Reviewbr>Arrived on time, in good condition, and appears to be of good quality; It was a good deal. The pages have a very light green tint to them, which makes them very easy to read. There was no bleed-through when I used ballpoint, gel, and felt tip pens. through. It's a nice pad, so there's that. does exactly what it's supposed to - You make a mark on it.
They don't have any holes in them. So, if you don't tear out the pages, they're great for taking notes, but they have the standard spiral bound messy edge. I'm not going to buy anything else in the future.
I was worried that the pages would be too thin for what I wanted, but they turned out to be perfect. When I write, my pen glides across the pages like butter. In addition, the price is very reasonable.
These are of a reasonable standard. The color of the paper appeals to me, as does the fact that the line runs down the center, as it does on steno pads. These are the ones I use to keep track of my to-do lists. Also, it's a good idea to keep a notebook with you. This is something I strongly suggest. I prefer to support small businesses by purchasing locally. However, in a pinch, these will suffice.
I'm a writer, so I keep a small pad next to my bed in case I have any brilliant ideas in the middle of the night, lol. These are fantastic because they open vertically, making them much easier to store on my nightstand. I also keep one in the kitchen for grocery lists and other such things, and it's a good price.
I found the price to be reasonable, and I use them to jot down notes and memos all over the place.
