I despise it when I have thirty minutes until dismissal and I need to write a parent note but can't get to the copier to copy it (as we must). I'll have to wait until the next day if I can't reach the parent via phone. It's no longer a problem with these notes. They're actually quite large, which is great because most teacher supply stores only carry the small ones. These are also of excellent quality. I had read elsewhere that they would arrive bent, but I was fortunate.
Using these as positive reinforcement for our program's teachers, paraprofessionals, and therapy staff - The person receives the top copy, while the second is raffled off once a month. When someone wins, it's nice to be able to say what they got kudos for!.
These have been a lifesaver for me as a first-year SPED teacher! If necessary, I was able to quickly write a note to the parent at the end of the day and keep a copy for documentation. If you want the parent to sign and return the note, you can check the box. I really enjoy using these, and I plan to buy at least two more for the coming school year.
When my notepad arrived, it was practically falling apart. I'm extremely dissatisfied with the quality and timeliness of the product. Despite the fact that the concept is fantastic, I will not be recommending this product. Such a letdown. Teachers, take note!.
I work as a speech therapist in a school system with infants and toddlers, as well as in daycares and Head Start programs. I like these notes because they allow me to keep parents up to date on what happened during my visit as well as what they can do at home.
It's perfect for sending notes to parents at home.
It goes perfectly with my Disney theme, and it's a great way to keep track of notes sent home.
LOVE IT.
