Questions & Answers
In short, yes. There is a lot of information on this online. Pastel artists use it to store and transport their pastels.
Tape made from white artists' materials works great. It's a good idea for the glassine to be 2" wide so 1" of it is on the glassine and 1" of it would be on the artwork or whatever you're attaching
Although I do not know for sure, since it's marketed for pastels, I would assume that is the case

As long as I can select the size of the glassine to cover my pastel paintings, it's a plus for me.
Artists use glassine to protect the surface of paintings, especially when they package artwork for transport. This stuff has a similar feel to any other glassine I've ever handled. The paint is less likely to rub off when it reduces friction. I like it. Despite the fact that it arrived badly damaged and in a short time, this roll of glassine paper was delivered intact and in good condition.
I used it to wrap and ship the painting. In a YouTube video, this type of paper was shown to be the best way to store or protect an oil painting. This was followed by bubble wrapping and warping the painting. There was not a scratch on the car during the trip from Ohio to Florida. I was very pleased with the quality of the.
The 25G is protected with a 50-foot hose Despite the fragility of the large palettes of the oil paintings, I packed them with bubble wrap around glassine, mailed them with USPS nationwide, and there wasn't a single scratch despite the old age of the paintings. It is important to apply oil to knives.
I love it! There is no doubt about the size. My resin paintings are protected with this which I use when selling them.
The paper has a nice feel to it. A 4' x 8' canvas mural on canvas was to be shipped and I purchased this to protect it during shipping. Since it does not stick to the paint, I will have plenty left over to wrap other pieces as well. I would purchase it again because it was a good value for the money.
I need this to protect the oil paintings.
It is one of the best products you can buy for glassine paper.
