Among the reviews I have seen, it mentions that "the black ink cartridge will last for around 200 pages of standard type.". There is a 50-page color cartridge for the color printer You can choose between 75 4x6 pictures, depending on how good the print quality is.
In my experience, black always runs out first, which is why I always purchase the 241XXL. It contains less ink than the other colors in the cartridge as the container contains three different The XXL-sized color cartridge is not available for purchase. If you only need black printing you can turn on black ink on your Canon so that the color will only be used for the most important prints. In any case, since I am a writer, I use more black than color. It is my intention to purchase an HP Laser to print my black prints since the toner cartridges will print thousands of pages of black type before running out, and you will have plenty of notice. I worked While I love my Canon color printer, I know that inkjet printers are expensive when it comes to toner, as is the case with all printers. decide to inject ink into your cartridges to refill them, do so as soon as they run low because the printer has a sensor and isn't going to let a cartridge refilled once it has run dry be used in the printer. This money saving technique undoubtedly senses it in some way, but I have no idea how. This is an easy way to save a lot of money and has a high saving potential.
Black Cartridge 240 (Black) & Black Cartridge 240 (White) 240XL cartridges and the (240xl) cartridge are both made by Canon, the difference being that the XL (extended life) cartridge allows for about 1/3 more pages per cartridge. If you do not want to be annoyed with the lack of black ink, I would NOT recommend the 240 cartridge.

The last time I got this item, I got it in an envelope with a beat up box. I did not print much in color when I first used the printer, and its color cartridge did not last a week. My cartridge seems like it is a recycled cartridge in a new (but beat up) case a box to the right. Perhaps I will just go to Walmart for my next cartridge at least I will be able to complain in.
I think this ink is overpriced, and it only lasts for Using laser printers again is the way to go. Ink could have bought two computers by now with the money spent on it. With the original toner cartridges, I had a Konica Minolta color laser that lasted for years. I was shocked by its size. It also had a paper jam that was impossible to fix. The move I made when I left it made me regret it. Today it probably requires a new roller belt, but it is still churning out laser prints in color.
Ink cartridges that can be refillable have been a problem for me, but they are too messy to justify. While ink could be cheaper, I do have no choice since I have to buy it every day for my at-home business. I might as well buy the best ink I can for my printer, since it is nearly impossible to avoid it. Page layouts for my blog planner are usually printed out on thick card stock, and shipping labels will be printed out Despite the fact that the printer is right out of the box, I've never seen any smudges. In my experience, these cartridges last for quite a while and I haven't encountered any problems with them at all. The ink does not get on my fingers when I use them, they are easy to install and remove, and they are easy to clean. The devices I've used have never malfunctioned (now that I have said that, you best believe I will come back here and give you an update as soon as If you have to buy ink, get the Canon brand for your Canon printer. I get my pack with photo paper but rarely use it, I have stacks of it in my office. If you have to buy ink, please go ahead and purchase the Canon brand for your Canon printer. The two are designed to work together and do so very effectively. There is no way I could give it more than 4 stars because it is If they would just lower the ink price, I would give them 5 stars!.
If the cartridges are $54 and one is opened and has white stuff on it (looks like ink or someone had paint on their hands), I don't think I should expect it to be like that. Running a business means I have to pay attention to every penny. They then claim "sold as is" with no returns, so I better make good use of the color ink I bought.
The Canon replacement cartridge works great with the Ink arrived quickly and at a discounted price. At least, that was better than buying a new printer with ink in it for a change. There is still a lot of ink in the cartridge even though I bought it four months ago. If you print a lot of color pictures or prints, the cartridge should last for a longer time. It seems that most printer manufacturers sell the printers cheaply but make up for it with the ink cartridge sales. After a while I would just buy a new printer with ink in it when the ink ran out, since it would cost twice as much as the printer itself. I then would try to buy the factory refurbished printers, but sometimes it was hit or miss whether When I bought refill kits, I would refill them myself, and they would work for a few refills, but eventually would develop leaks or wouldn't work at all. These cartridges, which are from Canon, last significantly longer than the ones that come in the printer. Using these at home as a printer is a great option, at least when I print at home. It's hard to say how useful they would be for home offices that do a great deal of printing I would choose a printer with large ink cartridges in that case.
A college student has been living at home quite a bit, thus using up quite a bit of In fact I switched from an inkjet printer to this Canon wireless printer because of the amount we print and the ink cost. We are able to print a lot of pages and the ink lasts forever. However, we are still able to print even though the monitor keeps prompting me to change the cartridge. It will take me until I see the print quality deteriorate before I stop using the current cartridges. There is no other cartridge that I will buy than the XL cartridges. As an added bonus, this combo pack includes 50 4x6 sized photo papers. My experience with Canon products has been very positive. The next time I need ink is probably in the summer. * The price point is about the same as my local superstore, however I do a lot of shopping on the internet and this was more convenient than physically going *My opinions are my own and I have not been compensated in any way. I purchased this book at full price.
There was a problem with the color cartridge that came with this item. The printer was unable to print because of an E05 error. Since I bought it in advance of needing it, I had to wait until after the return date expired before I could return it. As the cellophane strip covering the print head was missing from the cartridge, I suspect that the order was tampered with.
This is my one, the magenta color is not present at all. The book may have stayed on the shelf too long, I'm not sure. Although, we are only talking about a year or two, not five or ten. A number of times, I have tried to clean the printer and cartridge, but nothing has changed. Currently unable to use it, and it was a waste of It is worth two stars instead of one because in the past, some worked without any issues. Get one with white boxes and Canon letters or experiment with aftermarket ones.
