This tissue paper does not come from an acid-free source. The item is available on Amazon, but only in the US. You can find acid free tissue paper in all departments by searching.
There is no glossy side to it.

Only one star is given because it is larger than most tissue, which I thought was great, but the quality is miserable. There is SO much risk of it tearing. Whenever I ship garments for my business I wrap them in tissue paper that should not tear at the slightest touch. I have to wrap my garments in two sheets to make it not tear. As far as I can tell, the quality is similar to toilet tissue only. Stock up on tissue when it is in stock at Costo during the holiday season to save money.
This time, the tissue is much thinner compared to the first time I got it. So I came back because I was satisfied the first time. It is thin enough that you can't double up this stuff and wrap clothes in it without it tearing, even when you double it The next time I purchase, I will go somewhere else.
It is not the quality I had hoped for. It is thinner than dollar tree tissue paper, but larger in size. It is not recommended for wrapping gifts. Packing clothes is made more convenient due to the quality of the material. The purchase will remain in my possession for now, but I will stop ordering from here forward.
As you can see, I'm in love with I really like the thinness of this, but it works great for what I use it It won't matter what they do they'll tear it up! It was a plus that I didn't tear any of the sheets when I removed them from the package. There's enough strength to hold it! I will be purchasing more in the future.
I am amazed at the quality of the tissue paper. The quality of the product is excellent. As I order one at a time, more than one is shipped in the same box and the box they ship in does not have the strength to carry the weight, it collapses Thus, the tissue paper is messed up when it arrives. Tissue paper like this is probably the worst quality I have They were wrinkled and even torn when they arrived. Shipping caused all corners of the package to crunch and it was poorly packaged.
It is also not white, more of a light grey recycled material, and is almost transparent in appearance. This is the last time I'll be buying anything from you. In a retail setting it would probably be okay to stuff boxes with it, but I use it to wrap clothing in a boutique at checkout, and it's not that high quality at all.
My goal was to wrap products for shipping with this tissue. My company uses white tissue with its logo as well, but the price is so high that I use the plain white tissue mixed in. In comparison to the plain tissue I was buying before at the same price, these had smaller sheets, but they felt better, and most importantly they were cheaper. There are holes in the paper, black specks in the paper and the paper is so thin that it's impossible to handle, but you can use it for wadding up. It's kind of like that old saying you get what you pay for. I will never purchase again after learning this lesson!.
