Questions & Answers

Is there a difference between paper density and paper thickness?

Despite being so thin, they are very strong. The thickness of the card needs to be increased by gluing two cards together. A friend of mine had the cards that were 5"x 8".

What is the double-sided nature of the cards?

You will find that they are lined on one side and blank on the reverse.

How are these ruled between the two parties?

It was only one side that was ruled.

Does the index card have a rule on both sides?

I didn't notice that one side was

Now, it's thin like paper
3/5

In the past, these cards were thicker, closer to cardboard, but sadly now they are almost as thin. - and the ones with color Their thinness is similar to that of The edges are easy to bend and they don't grip as well as the old ones did. It's always cheaper to make what makes the most profit, including the old ways of making things. Wish they would return to the old ways, but that's to be expected. It was a big disappointment.

The kid can use it to keep track of at home recipes, addresses, and flash cards
4/5

We all tried out Oxford Ruled Index Cards in high school and college, and I am certain that we have all used them. Reviewing the product is not going to make a huge impact on your purchase but here is a review I left anyway. A 3" X 5" set of white ruled index cards, this set comes in a pack of 20. They are made from a combination of 10% recycled fiber and 10% post-consumer fiber and there are 100 in this pack. It is divided into one side that is ruled and one side that is left The note cards are great for taking notes, speeches, and for any other project you might You can even use it at home to keep track of recipes or addresses. There is no denying that this set is thin, but that's not necessarily a negative If you receive these in the mail, don't be surprised when they are not the usual thick card stock. I have used them for my son for his review cards for letters and numbers, etc. They have been fantastic, durable and dependable!.

A wafer-type product A thin film
3/5

The kids never seem to have index cards on hand when they suddenly need them, so I bought a few packs of these to throw into the emergency school supply box. These cards will get the job done in a pinch, but they are lower quality than other index cards I've purchased in the past.

The thickness is similar to a piece of construction paper, not a sturdy The tubes roll up easily, either in one direction or the other. On the back, they are unlined, and on the front, they are lined. It is OK to use these thin cards for projects where you are going to be handling them a little bit, but it is not wise to use them for making flash card sets for.

It's a straight line! I am not sure about how to review index cards, but I know which lines to follow
5/5

It seemed that the lines were blurred. It's not clear to me. You have a straight line, which is how it We shrug our shoulders.

They are very thin but of good quality
4/5

It was disappointing to find these cards so thin and flimsy. They were much flimsier and floppier than index cards I have used in the past, and therefore they were not Although they are crisply printed and cut and well-suited for short-term use, I expect they won't hold up to regular use, so I won't be able to use them to write recipes on. It isn't listed in the item description what the "weight" is of the paper, though I wish I had checked it. As a result, I gave them 4 stars considering how cheap they were! I don't think I can be too disappointed with a buck fifty. Basically, these are thin index cards that look well made. A stiff or thick card is something you need to look for somewhere else.

This is a classic and perfectly useful tool
5/5

Whenever I have a task to complete, I use these calendars Making to-do lists, brainstorming, and doodling are all part of the process. I like their thickness for this job, and my nice thick pen ink doesn't leak through unless I really pile it on thickly. Since I've used these for years, they continue to provide excellent service.

I feel I was misled by the way the ad was written because the index cards aren't heavy like you would expect
3/5

The shipping was fast, and I receive what I ordered, however I feel they don't measure up to their ad's claims. As described in the ad, these cards are both recyclable and made with partially recycled materials - not what you would expect from an index card. They are lightweight and not thick, which would be expected from an index card. Next time, I will use these up and not buy the Oxford brand.
