The surface of this cardstock is very smooth, unlike other cardstock which may have a slightly textured surface. Heat foiling with it should be fine unless the paper is excessively thick. Additionally, I am not sure if you need to clear coat it. The metallic finish gives the cardstock almost the appearance of a protective layer, so any color that may transfer should not do so if you store it with other paper or lightly mod podge it (or anything

In this cardstock, there is no passing of the color through it. There is a white core to it. Unless you are very extremely careful and use a bone folder to press on the spine as you bend the stock, you cannot fold this stock without it cracking. It will still take twice or three times as long to do this, and you will still squander some time. I scored the cardstock first, but the color chips off at the fold, leaving pock marks (see photo). I believe that the color must be sprayed onto the cardstock because when you pick it up from the plastic it is packed in, you smell a chemical odor. Taking the package out of the package for a while will rid the smell of it. The following should be considered a Red A second gotcha is that the color is not permanent after being sprayed on You can remove the colors from the card by swiping with a damp towel (see There was no moisture on this towel, only a slight dampness. This is FIRE FLAG The icing on the cake is that it is so soft to the touch. Use a light pencil when you want to mark something. Say to write on each card by hand, do not plan to erase Pencil marks leave dents in the surface, so even now when the pencil mark is gone, the dent is still visible. There are only a few light pencil marks on the paper. My first rodeo was a few years ago Having done it dozens of times before, I know what to expect. There has never been a case where my cardstock has been dented. Summary of conclusions It might seem like a better deal at first glance, but it doesn't seem like it at all. The paper they call cardstock is actually either spray painted imitation or some kind of craft paper with a picture on it. As they say, being prepared is better than being unprepared.
I'm impressed by the quality of this (92#) paper, and the subtle surface shimmer gives the piece a beautiful appearance. But I have to return it because I tried cutting this paper with a Cricut and the core is white (very hard to cut with a Cricut). Furthermore, the color of the paper doesn't look quite navy blue to me I call it an "air force blue" because of the metallic shimmer, which makes the color appear different depending on the lighting. As an example of what I mean, I took a picture of this paper (on the left) next to the midnight navy paper I purchased from Michael's (on the right).
In terms of quality of color and durability, I thought this paper would be the perfect material to use to make paper flowers. However, I noticed that it smelled like ink when I opened it. My fingers were stained after holding said paper for a while. At first, it didn't bother me, but as I kept working with it, it became noticeable. A few hand washes later, the strange feeling went away, but I was still perplexed. I normally can't get this kind of result from any other card stock, but for some reason these flowers turned.
It is fine in every regard, except for the fact that the blue doesn't go all the way down. Because of this, the white edge shows when the paper is cut. Lasers are being used to cut an intricate pattern and the white overwhelms it. I like the paper and think the lighter colors will go well with the design. The darker the color, the more difficult it is to cut through.
It's a perfect weight. It's a perfect finish. The product is excellent and I would definitely purchase it What a pretty picture!.
The cardstock has a beautiful sheen. The color and shimmers make it a pretty shade. A nightscape card is on my list of things to make.
In addition, the paper came open and damaged on one side. It appeared that water had been spilled The damaged parts of the paper weren't as obvious as they can be, so I kept the paper and worked around them.
