I'm a comic artist. I bought the 100lb cover card stock, in hopes that it would be comparable to the Strathmore Bristol board that I usually use. The reviews had given me a bit of a clue as to what to expect. When we received the package, we were very pleasantly surprised to find that it is exactly the same as Strathmore, if not the same as Strathmore ever was, The surface is slightly thicker, brighter, and smoother—all of which is relevant to I'm glad I found this at half the price. It does what I need, and is just as good, if not better, than the 25-$ The cost of a sheet of Strathmore pad is the same as this 50-sheet pad Get all the sheets you need! I am very happy with this!.
An 8-year old girl who loves to draw and paint and stamp bought this for her. This product is perfect! I chose the thickest version (100 lb) and I am so happy with how thick it is. It means she can press hard with her wettest marker and I do not have to worry about the color bleeding. Moreover, the 11x17 sheets are big, so there is less chance of scribbling over the edges. I want to emphasize that the texture is decent, smooth enough so that markers will draw without getting ink all over the place, but still high enough to keep the ink from rubbing.
As other reviewers have noted, this cardstock comes with corners that aren't sharp or clean, so if you need the full 11x17 size and hope to have sharp corners, shop somewhere else. Originally I was just planning on using this to cut templates/stencils, but I expect most people will want pristine corners in which case this product is not recommended. I wouldn't recommend purchasing this since you will have to return the cardstock for you to My mistake was my fault, but I hope to learn from it now.
The price of this product was reasonable, and it was delivered in a timely manner. color is beautiful, the weight is heavy, and the material is sturdy! Its tendency to peel when folded is the only problem I have with the product. I used them as exterior envelopes for my resume packet, and I'm not sure if this is because of their weight. In the process of folding the sides, bottom, and top, the paper seemed to separate into thinner layers, leaving frayed edges. The product can be used as is or cut with a straight edge and blade (easy to do with a straight edge). Using this heavy paper for folding is not recommended.
It was an affordable price to get 50 11"x17" sheets of 100lb cover card stock, and delivery was quick. It was unfortunately the case that corners on about 15 sheets were damaged from packaging. salvaged some of the sheets by cutting the edges that were damaged off, but I was intending to make base cards for A2 size cards with the remaining sheets. It might be a good idea for the seller to protect the corners better during I still consider the card stock to be a pretty good value for its high quality.
In one of my courses, I needed to mount pressed plant selections onto this paper. This cardstock had the right thickness, but if you need to print on it, you should definitely put it through the printer in a tray where it won't have to be curled or it might not be able to run through, due to its firmness.
I love how thick this cardstock is, and it's great for art projects! There is no end to the.
Paper dolls with this size and weight are perfect for those that cannot be found The best way to ensure best results is to use the alternate feed on your printer (if it has one). Multiple flips of the paper are avoided by using the alternate feed.
