I find the metal to be WAY too thin and prone to breaking. This is what I did for 65 seconds 350. Almost all dye transferred to the paper. With asub paper and Cosmo, it is a 2720 printer. Use will be made of it. This is the last time I will purchase this fabric. Also, also. In the box there were no instructions and no temperature or time.
Due to the ease of making cards into badges with this set, it was possible to experiment with more than just heat transfer vinyl on shirts. As soon as the cards were delivered, I attempted to make a hole with a drill press and the protective plastic that had been placed on top of them to prevent scratching during shipping and storage was torn off. As a result, I decided to delay drilling until printing and heat press operations were completed. To keep the cards in place, I used heat tape and prints I purchased online that were printed on sublimation printers. Put a sheet of protection over the surface and press with firm pressure under 200 degrees. Although I have not used my laser cutter to expose the black on these cards, I do think they are capable of being used with my NEJE engraving machine.
It has been my experience to sublimate on so many items, so I thought it would be a good idea to refer my daughter to this. To my excitement, I ordered this product and looked forward to trying it. Although I followed all directions, I was still not able to sublimate the pieces properly. That first time I have not been able to sublimate any product is a first and a first. There was no success with any of the ones I tried with more time, less time, more pressure, more heat. It is possible I got a bad batch, but the through don't work at all and I am really disappointed with it.
It is nice to use as a business card, but a bit on the expensive side, unfortunately. A sublimation print comes out very natural, and when the light catches it, it takes on a metallic/sparkly sheen, giving it a fancy look and catching The press was heated for 100 seconds at 170°C. There is one down side to these types of cards they are not very thick and it is possible to bend them when pulling off the heat tape.
It is beautiful. I'm so glad that these worked out so well. Initially, I did not like the fact that the cards are so much thinner than the metal cards I normally purchase, but I am now more impressed with them. Their flitter gives them the perfect amount of shine, while their flexibility gives them a little more flexibility.
In addition to being thin, the blanks are One time I let someone hold a business card just to see how it felt, and the card was bent by the time she handed it back to me. Whenever someone rolls a BC around in their hands or carries it in their pockets, it will "fold," as it is destined to do. A bend is a bend in this case. Leaving all of that aside, they did a good job sublimating. the first project I have practiced on, and I am super excited about it. Using an iron on the next-to-highest setting, I pressed the cloth. Sorry, but I do not know what the temperature was, but the color came out great.
There is a thin layer of aluminum and they are flexible & strong It is possible to cut them. It was so simple that I even used a hole puncher for.
This is what I got to make some business cards for my son's I was pleasantly surprised by how well it worked.
