In an ideal world, the first label would not stick. They should stick very well once you've passed the second label. You might end up with labels that have outlived their usefulness if you don't do so.

This is the second time I've ordered replacement tape from this company, and the tape, as always, has exceeded my expectations. It's simple to set up, print, and apply to files or anything else I need to label.
I usually buy the tape that comes with it locally, but I've been having trouble finding it lately, so I ordered it for the first time. Within three days, I had it. I now have five rolls of tape, each of which will last indefinitely. I was only able to get single packs at the store. I am very pleased with the product because it is of the same high quality.
The performance of the ink and label is identical to that of the original. Only four stars because of a problem with the backing paper, which tended to tear a little when peeled off. I used these to do all of the nuts and bolts drawers in my garage, and peeling it from the other side always got it all off without any fuzz left on the sticky part. I'm going to buy them again.
When I bought it, I had no idea it was made of paper. I finally got a chance to try it out today, and it's pretty much the same as the plastic labels. These label cartridges are just as good as Dymo's, which are significantly more expensive. They also appear to last the same amount of time as Dymo cartridges. When a container needs to be repurposed and relabeled (or washed), the adhesive actually sticks better and comes off more cleanly and easily. My dymo letratag labeling machine works perfectly with the labels I used. One thing I've noticed is that they peel up when you try all of the roles (I've only tried two out of a lot). Everything appears to be fine when you print peel, but after a few days, it has peeled up and is no longer sticking. I've tried two of the roles on various surfaces. The ones I received appear to be identical to store-bought stock. I also double-checked that everything was clean before labeling, as I always do, but the labels were still peeling up.
