I'm not sure, but it appears to be water-resistant, and the bag is substantial. BUT, if you want the contents to be safe, none of this matters. My husband has been stealing from it since I bought it because he can easily pick the lock without the use of a key. Very sad.
I only bought one, and it came with two keys, so I'm not sure what the answer is. sorry

This used, cut-up bag should never have left Amazon in the first place. Someone isn't doing their job, and it irritates me that I have to deal with them. I needed this bag, but it's worthless, so I couldn't even use it for a day.
I inserted a hairpin into the lock to see what would happen. It was able to open the damned thing. I can't pick locks because I don't have the necessary skills. with the exception of this. Put something safe in this bag if you want to keep it safe. The bag should then be placed in a secure location. Aside from that, I'm not sure.
This bag is about a full inch larger than my other money bags and is a fantastic security money bag at a great price. This is a bag that I would recommend to anyone, including my mother. My money is secure in the bag, I believe. The key does not slide into the keyhole as easily as it does in my other bags, which is the only drawback I can think of. I have no other problems using the key after that. The lock is easy to open once you've got it in. I've noticed that inserting and removing the key isn't as easy as it is with my other bags. Only 4 stars due to glaring key insertion and removal issues.
I had to cut open this bag to get the contents out after I lost the lock. br>br>With my pocket knife, I could slice through the bag like butter. br>br>It makes me wonder what the bag's purpose is. If you have your back turned at an event, it may not be easily stolen, but if it is stolen and taken home, it could be opened in less than 10 seconds.
The lock is quite substantial in its own right. I like how the key will not be released until the bag has been re-locked. This way, there's no risk of locking the key inside the bag by accident! I understand that a determined thief could simply rip open the cloth, which is also quite substantial, to remove the contents inside, but I have found that locked boxes with combinations are easily pried open or the combinations figured out by a determined thief. If the bag is cut open, I'll have proof that I was robbed, and no one will be able to convince me otherwise. 7/2014 Well, the addict in my house just informed me that he has been picking this lock since day one. It was as simple as following the YouTube instructions. Please accept my apologies if I have led you astray. It's still a good locking mechanism as long as the bag is in your sight; it's just not stealthy thief-proof. proof.
It's almost as if the handle and the zipper connection with the lock mechanism aren't meant to work together. At this price point, it's a complete waste of money. . . just use a generic $10K paper cash envelope instead.
It's close, but not quite the right size, especially since it has a rounded corner. I didn't expect the lock to take up so much interior space, either. When I measure with a sheet of loose leaf, the sheet shows through a lot. If it had been expandable, even slightly, it could have been useful for purchase purposes, as well as a notary journal. Returning it would be too expensive; perhaps I can find a use for it? Do you have any recommendations?.
After the first time it wouldn't open, the keys were useless, and I had to cut my new bag open to get my money out. I wasted my money on this item.
