We bought these for our Little League Baseball concession stand because we couldn't seem to get to the bank on time every week to get the night drop bags so we could empty the register after each day's games. Instead, we simply take one of these bags, fill it with our information, a deposit slip, and the money, and drop it off. We no longer have to go out of our way to get our receipt because the bank mails it to us. br>br>Before you put the contents in, you'll need to write on it with a ballpoint pen. That's all there is to it once it's sealed. It's locked up tight. It also seals much more easily than "traditional" bags. Simply pull the backing away from the adhesive, and it nearly self-closes.
I'm surprised at how well they seal; great price for a great product. They can even be airtight in some cases. The plastic is a little thinner than the old bank bags, but their durability has never been an issue for me.
The tamper-evident seal is fantastic. There's no getting it back open once it's turned on. The fact that it is so simple to use is my favorite feature of this bag. I've used a few other tamper-proof bags before, but this one is by far the most straightforward to put together. Other bags have a removable strip on the back or something similar that requires you to fold the sealant over, which can be a pain if you don't line it up perfectly. This isn't the case with this bag; the design is far more user-friendly. The sealant strip is aligned with the top portion on the back of the bag; all you have to do now is peel off the backing from the sealant side and push the two sides together. Misaligned sealant strips or sealant strips folded over with sticky corners sticking out have no chance of causing bags to stick to each other or other objects. Good value for the money, and while the easier sealing is a minor benefit, it is appreciated by my clerks.
These are what we use at church. They're great, and the bank doesn't mind them. They're so much easier to use than the reusable pouches. Stuff, seal, drop, and that's all there is to it. They're on my reorder list all the time. Also, Amazon is less expensive than the office supply stores where I live. I was also fed up with going to the office supply store only to find that they were out of stock. Reordering and using Amazon Prime are great ways to keep the church supplies coming in.
It's quite effective. For night drops, this is an excellent option. Plastic has a surprising amount of strength for a material. Deposits should be made at the church.
These are what we use for our church's deposit, and they work great.
My only gripe is that a regular ball is required. a pen with a point Because I don't use that, anything I write on it smears. But I like how no one can see what's inside because it's not transparent, and I like how it makes me feel more secure.
