I'm curious about the armband's length. ?

It's small enough to pass through a police shield. It's about 2 inches wide and can stretch up to 4 inches long.

I'm just a buyer, but when I googled "red line mourning band," I found several listings for packs of 10 and 20.

Will these work for fire department badges that require them to be worn at a / angle as well?

Yes, they can be worn on an angle or from side to side. My rank is number two. The shroud is 5 inches wide and does not slip.

Before any stretching, the package we received was only 2 inches long. They had dislodged themselves from our badges. What size should they be in terms of length and width?

Depending on the type of badge, the standard is 1 3/4. It's possible that your badge will need to be smaller if it's narrower than the standard 3 1/2-inch width. It's usually 1 1/2 inch if it's the Deputy star.

It's nice, but it won't fit a five-point badge

These are well-made and of excellent quality. A five-point badge, however, will not fit. I'm not sure if the description makes that clear.

It appears to be of good quality and should last a long time (hopefully we won't need to use them frequently). br>My only issue was that it was too big for my badge and looked sloppy when I first put it on, so I took it off and cut and stapled it down to size, and it now looks fantastic! br>I am extremely pleased with my purchase.

Sad day

Working in law enforcement, it's always a sad day when we have to use these, but we bought them just in case. As it turned out, an officer was killed in the line of duty less than a month after we got them, and everyone was honored to have one to place over their badge during this sad, emotional, and trying time for our community.

We were out of thin blue line mourning bands and needed some for an upcoming funeral, so we sent all black instead of black with thin blue line

I came across these and placed an order for 30 of the thin blue line version. They sent the all-black bands out. It is now too late to place a new order because they have arrived. To put it mildly, we are all disappointed. br>As far as black mourning bands are concerned, I suppose they are adequate.

Small stars can't fit in here

I used the smallest tabs I could find, but I still need to staple the back to fit our uniforms' five-point stars. It's not the dealers' fault; they simply don't have the space to accommodate a smaller star. For the quantity, it is a good value.

Regular badges will not fit. My badge is too small for these mourning bands. At my sheriff's office, I wear a five-point star, which is excessively large. br>br>I was also a firefighter, and I tried to put it on my shield badge, but it was too large.
