In terms of the plastic, it is thinner than I expected, but it does hold 20 coins in the protective plastic cases, which is what I wanted, so in that regard, I am satisfied. There is no rigidity to the plastic like there is in You can press on it and it flexes. My experience has been that the red cap is so snug on the tube that it is almost air tight when you put it on. This puts a slight problem in that air cannot vent when it is on. In the tube, when you push down the cap, the air is under pressure, and the pressure in the tube pushes the cap back up. In my case, I solved this by puncturing the red cap with a needle to allow air to escape.

The capsules hold 16 coins I do have very snugly, just a hair or two away from being absolutely perfect, so I'm extremely happy with this purchase with only 16 coins I don't have a big coin collection, so I bought this to store 16 coins. Furthermore, it makes it easy to keep my coins together in my safe thanks to the tube.
