It's not a door handle that can be slid off. A doorknob, railing, or hose bib is required.
You'll probably be able to fit two, three, or even four keys in there. Key chains, for example, are extremely constrained. Because the key tags I'm using right now won't fit inside the box, I'll have to fill it with only keys. br>br>Changing the combo is simple. You can change the combo by swiping the slider on the inside. br>br>I had one on the side of the house for about 30 days. The color is beginning to fade. This is something I would expect during the hot summer months in Georgia, but it happened only a few weeks ago.
It's on YouTube, and it demonstrates how to open it with a thin piece of aluminum. It works, and I've tried it.

They aren't heavy or cumbersome in any way.
So much so that this is the second time I've ordered them.
It's easy to use and has a nice appearance.
It is simple to change the code. I put one of these on every house I list (along with the REALTIR lockbox) and show new homeowners how to change the combination before handing it over.
with one snag! The small button you use to set the combo moves far too easily. When this happened the first time, I blamed the tenant. However, the second time around-- I needed to find an answer. br>br>I used a small twist tie (like the ones you'd use on bread) and folded it down into the hole so it couldn't move, then covered it with a small piece of tape to keep it in place. Since then, I haven't had any more problems. I pull the twist tie out of the hole and change the combo, then reinsert. br>br>I like these lockboxes for a day or two, primarily for vendors or a turnover, but not for extended periods because they are easy to bust open. However, they serve the purpose for which I purchased them. I fixed the problem of people accidentally bumping the combination once I figured out how to fix it.
To begin with, the storage space for keys is extremely limited and irregularly shaped. Even one key was difficult to close the box. A few keys have been bent as a result of it. Worst of all, the box is so fragile that it easily splits in two, as shown in the photo. I threw away all of the boxes after three were broken. In the end, a key lock box must be secure and capable of storing keys without causing damage.
