Despite its sturdy appearance, this product comes with no template, guide, or installation instructions. When I contacted Protex Safe Co. , the manufacturer, I was told that the product was no longer available. at 626- 334- I told him that was poor and that they needed to fix it, and he hung up on me at 7233, the guy chuckled and said they don't have anything to provide, and I told him that was poor and that they needed to fix it, and he hung up on me. Looking for videos on YouTube. Whatever the case may be, I'm confident I'll be able to solve it. Installing information from a manufacturer, on the other hand, shouldn't be too difficult.
I would have given this product five stars if it had come with any instructions. It arrived on time and in good condition. I'd suggest it. During the installation, I discovered that the inside slot (the side of the wall where the box is mounted) is lower than the outside slot by the thickness of the entire wall (outside to outside). I'd suggest it.
If I don't hear from you, the product will be returned to you.
When the door on our 12-year-old metal rent dropbox from HD Supply began to fall off, I decided it was time to replace it with something more durable, secure, and modern. This protex is very nice, with a sturdy build and a security feature that prevents checks from being pulled out from the outside, which gives my residents who are concerned about such things some peace of mind.
The box has a leak in it. It's not acceptable to have customer payments in there! It's tough; I don't think anyone will be able to break into it. Just make sure it's well-sealed before using it on an exterior wall. Also, because of the diagonal part, it was impossible to cut the wall properly for it to fit; however, we figured it out, but we damaged the wall around it.
The mail is too big for the box. Although it is sturdy, the slot is small and does not accommodate a large amount of mail. Our mail, unfortunately, becomes stuck. Everything that doesn't fit in the box gets dumped on our front porch by the mailman. It's a complete calamity. I do not recommend having mail strewn about the yard.
duty and a high level of security The only disadvantage is that the chute lacks insulation or a movable barrier to keep cold air out. Obviously, there can't be too much of a good thing. If it wasn't sealed, the mail wouldn't be able to get through. A plastic flap or something similar, on the other hand, would have been a welcome addition.
It was professionally installed in a wall, but it looks exactly like the picture. A high-quality box with a locking door and a design that prevents someone from fishing something out from the outside. I'll be purchasing again in the future.
