Nope. What happens is that once you receive it, you open it, enter the code, and no one else can reset it without that code. We use it, and every time we give a guest a code to access it, we reset the code when they leave the property and return the keys, so no one else has the same code. As a result, the chances of someone getting into the box are slim to none.
Make sure the Black Lever on the left is up when closing the lid. Perhaps yours isn't snapping up when it's closed. Check to see if there's anything blocking it from closing.
Check that nothing is blocking the latch and that the black lever on the left is clicking into place.

Setting it up is a little tricky, but that could be a good thing. The fact that when set to 6543, it will open with 5543, 6443, 6533, 6542, as well as 6543 and several other combinations, isn't ideal. The last dial can be off by one and still be open if the other three are correct. br>Updated on May 13, 2020- They sent a replacement without requiring me to return the defective one (thank you), and it functions properly. It appears to be sturdy and well-made, far superior to burying a key beneath a rock.
It's simple to set up, program combinations, and it's large enough to hold a full set of keys and more. br>br>The screws that come with it are a little flimsy (one of them stripped the head when I installed it), and there are no washers. Screws and washers made of stainless steel were used in their place. I'm more at ease with the installation now. br>br>Fits perfectly on a 4X4 and is small enough to be mounted discreetly if desired.
It's been a godsend for me for the past month. To cut a long story short, I have to give the dog walker my only spare set of keys. Because I still require them on occasion, the Ohuhu has enabled me to keep them securely locked for use by myself and my dog walker. br>br>Because I live in an apartment building, getting permission to install the key lock was a bit of a challenge. However, having it has been extremely beneficial because I now have peace of mind knowing that if I am locked out, I do not need to contact the property manager.
It does exactly what it's supposed to do. We have several caregivers for an elderly parent, and this is a great way to allow access without taking the risk and expense of making dozens of keys. Installing and configuring the combination is simple. And it's less obtrusive than a doorknob-mounted key safe.
After losing my keys twice, I decided to purchase this key safe. Now that I keep my keys in the safe every day, I don't have to look for them all over the place when I leave the house. It's my savior, and I really enjoy it.
This was purchased for the purpose of storing a credit card. two keys and a card-sized access card Despite the fact that they fit inside and the unit locks, reopening it with the pull-out handle becomes difficult. lowering the lever I decided against storing both in the unit because I was afraid it would not reopen. If you need to keep a card and keys, get a bigger unit.
It's very practical to have a mount box on the outside of the house so that I can get into my house with a spare key. The combo lock code can be changed very easily. It's well-made, and breaking it open would be extremely difficult. I liked it so much that I purchased a second one for my son's home.
A safe place to keep the keys to our boat lift and boat. br>We bought it to store our boat and the keys to the boat lift for the mechanic.
