Thus, I wanted a lockbox as a safe way to leave a spare key outside if I lock myself out or need someone to help me There is room for adding a car fob or additional keys to the box, but so far I only have my home key in it. While the screws included in the package could have been used to attach the device to my fence, I did not have to go that route because the shackle enabled me to attach it to a pipe inside my gate on the old water meter. My main reason for purchasing this is that it was a great price, and because you get two, of which I've used one successfully. have not fixed it to a wall, so I can't speak to that, but as far as hanging it on a door goes, it works just fine!
