I use it to store my Goldbacks and I love it. It is semi-rigid and completely transparent. The slides can be slid into place easily. None of them have ever fallen out, they stay closed.
My plan is to protect some old bills so the little one can use them one day and maybe even cash them in if need be. Initially, I was worried that they would be a thin material and not be able to protect the bills well. The materials used were actually of a very high It was easy for the bills to slide right into the top and go in right away. It will be difficult to bend them due to their thickness. I just wanted to make sure they are protected and these look like they will do just that. The top doesn't seal shut and is always open on the top, but the bill fits nicely inside, and it's just the right size for one bill to slide into and stay in until the top is pulled off.
These bonds were to be used for a savings bond, but it turned out to be much larger than expected. Due to my lack of double checking, I'm at fault. Although I believe that the long edge of the bag leaves its contents vulnerable, I would not recommend that you do so.
We had an absolutely horrible experience with our second order. There is a problem with the thickness of the holder and the welds at the seams of the holder are not as strong as They cut the paper bill so sharply on the top where the bill is inserted that it actually sliced the paper bill as it was being inserted. In the course of working with them, I cut my hands a few times. This is awful, terrible quality!.
There was no fault on either the sellers' or Amazon's part, however these currency holders came in a bow. The bottoms of the bills will not lay flat, which makes them unusable for currency. These women have too little muscle, and I am sure the 100 degree days in Oct. did not help. I had an issue with Amazon and they resolved it quickly and efficiently. The purpose of this message is to let others know that this issue exists.
Putting bills in these is a great idea for storing them in a safe place while keeping them accessible. I was able to easily insert bills into the pouch and remove them when needed. This is the second time I've bought them.
While it is a bit warped, it can still be used. Although I like them, I am not in love with Despite my regret, I did not regret buying.
The bills you insert into these holders get a feeling of great quality as you do so. The pages of my binder are put in three rings to prevent scratches.
