So, perhaps I should have paid closer attention to the product details before purchasing this "great deal. " "They're registers, and they're pretty basic, easy to use, and so on, but they're a little short on features. " Each register has 13 pieces of paper between the covers, compared to the Easy Read Registers I replaced with these, which each had double the number of pages. Double. So, as I didn't know what to do, I would advise you to do what I didn't know: When you see "pack of 12," remember that two of these registers equal one Easy Read, and then you can decide whether or not this is a good deal. I just assumed that all of the registers would be similar, but this isn't the case.
In every way, it's a smidgeon smaller than any other register I've ever used. So, while it may not be the best option for those with weaker eyes, I'm satisfied with the price.
But. These registers are excellent value, and I would have given them 5 stars if they had more writing space, as the spaces are very small.
This is neither of those things. There are only a few pages, they are thin, and the lines are very small. This might be what you're looking for if you're looking for a simple register. I'm extremely dissatisfied with this outcome.
I'd just paid $6 at my bank for ONE of these cash registers. These are identical to the ones I got at the bank, but they're a lot less expensive. Go for it.
It was exactly what I needed, and I was able to fill them up quickly because I mostly use my debit card and pay bills online, so having backups was extremely helpful.
I don't have much to say about this simple check register purchase. If there is a flaw, it is that I prefer registers with more pages. For the money, it's a good deal.
When we ran out of registers, we had to go to the bank for some free ones, which cost us more money. We were able to avoid having to go into town because of these.
