Magazines containing 2 years' worth of material are thin and will hold 2 years' It has fewer pages when compared to my thicker magazines, which have 100 pages or more per issue. Buying 2 packages of 24 holders for my classroom was my choice. On the day these arrived, I was in IKEA and I noticed that their FLYT magazine holders were 5 for $1. It didn't take me long to realize I could have saved a lot of money by buying the white version instead of the black one. The temptation was strong for me to purchase four packs of FLYT holders and return them. The higher quality of Simple Houseware's cardboard is way superior to those used by FLYT. As I continued my walk through IKEA, I noticed FLYT holders assembled, still using inferior quality cardboard. Simple Houseware's surface looks smooth and shiny like a photo box, whereas the FLYT's matte finish is similar to a copy paper container or a dollar store presentation Additionally, the corrugations were wider spaced on the FLYT, which made it feel more fragile. The Simple Housewares magazine holders ended up staying. They will update my review once middle school students have tried it out in the classroom.
It was not the first time I had gotten magazine holders. As the reviews were good, I took a chance on these. The problem, however, is that they are far There is very little cardboard in this package. These cardboard holders are much inferior to old cardboard holders that are as old as the hills. My sewing room is now a place for cross stitch magazines that I store as a retired lady. As I did not expect them to be abused in that situation, but they are just not sturdy enough to warrant keeping them. It was very easy and quick to return the item to Amazon. It is rare for me to return anything to Amazon during 18 years as a customer. On these, I will let the facts speak for themselves. This is not a company I can recommend.
It's great because you get so many for such a great deal, but, it became apparent during assembly that most need tape to stay together, and almost all lean toward one side without it. And I worry about durability over time, since I will be using these every day In spite of this, they were not expected to last very long considering their price and material.
Use permanent markers to label them with ease (they can be written on or drawn on). It is possible to decorate them even with contact paper. The next time I need some more, I will definitely order from them and will recommend them to my friends.
It's really nice to have magazine holders like these. Plastic is too bad for the environment, so they should be made of paper. I don't know how to fold the boxes properly the instructions are not very clear. Take a look at the bottom of the flat box after opening the box into its final shape. The sides should be folded out. The bottom panel should be bent flat to receive the printed instructions. Take each side and bend the curved portion down. The curved part will catch, but that's not it. Once you insert the white portion and bend the curved top section inward, you will see the portion printed with the company name/address will fit inside, once you bend the curved top portion inward on each side. Fold down the sides and bend the flap downward until it is flat inside the bottom. Who are you? I love the safeness of this.
A lot of my business orders are placed via catalogs since I am a business owner. My goal was to find a magazine holder that would stand the test of time. As a result of reading a few reviews, I decided to purchase The black ones came well packaged however, after opening them I discovered some of them had scuffs on them. The marks were permanent even after I tried wiping them off. The legs looked like they were being dragged across a floor by someone's foot. It was a relatively simple process to put them The reviewers gave them a high rating for durability, but they were not as sturdy as some of them When you have magazines and papers in them( in my case, magazines and papers), you have to be careful how you grab the shelves off the shelf to prevent them from falling My boxes are thicker and made of stronger cardboard, but these ones are thin and made of cheap cardboard. I will use them until I can order a set that is sturdier and does not scuff from somewhere else.
For our collection of magazines, we used these file holders in our Museum Library. I was very happy with how they worked and helped my space look cleaner.
It takes a lot of tape to complete. There was weak glue holding the black ones together, and the glue on the white ones looks flaky.
