There is a two drawer filing cabinet in my office This is a low number. While standing up, I'm able to see the tabs. Please find the answer to your question in the following paragraph.

Is the background dark on these tabs? Labels should be able to be read easily through something that is really transparent. Dark orange seems to be the color of the fruit. ?

Both the orange and the red are dark with the red being the darker of the two. As long as you use a black, bold font, this should be fine. The bright orange text is easier to read when the font is dark and bold. While the red one is harder to see, it still works for most people if the lighting is good. It is my hope that you find this helpful.

I think it's a good deal all in all. There are, however, tabs hanging out of file folders. The tabs on these file folders are perfect for those looking for file folder tabs.

Those are some really nice tabs for the file folders. Labels can be read through them because they are transparent enough to make them easy to use. An added benefit is that they match the colours of the hanging file folders.
