Questions & Answers
Although the end caps are recessed, the tube measures 49 1/4" in length. You should have no trouble fitting your 48" item as well as both end caps in.
It is 0. 2cm thick
Yup. There is only ONE tube.
I'm not sure, but I'm guessing they'll take it as long as it's fully packaged.

The fact that this mail tube was mailed in a slightly larger mailing box is hilarious. As a result, I was able to get two boxes/tubes for the price of one:.
It arrived in an oddly shaped rectangle box, in excellent condition. Even when the rocket reached speeds of nearly Mach 1 and altitudes of around 3000 feet, the tube performed admirably and did not break! Excellent quality, and I will recommend it to anyone interested in using it, particularly for rockets!.
Your house is being neckbearded. Sturdy and ideal for mailing my dingus former boss's fake "lightsaber" as a Christmas gift (rather than just giving us cash bonuses to spend on whatever we wanted).
I haven't had any issues. My son and I are huge gamers, and we have a ton of game posters! We got a lot of them at release events, and they're hard to find. Anyway, we needed a safe place to store them, and this tube fits the bill perfectly; we currently have 14 posters in one tube, with room for more. And there are a few of the large, over-the-top, over-the-top, over-the-top promotional posters of various sizes So, yes, this item comes highly recommended.
White plastic caps that fit inside the tube are included. I used Scotch shipping tape to hold the caps in place, but if you have a heavy duty stapler, you could probably staple them on as well. The tube is very sturdy, with thick walls. It came in a long cardboard box, which I'm storing (to prevent it from going to waste). The mailing tube was brand new and had a clear plastic wrap around it. One end of the tube has a permanent red Scotch brand label (approximately 3 x 4 inches). I didn't require a 48" tube, so I used a hacksaw to remove several inches. Cutting with a regular knife would be difficult, but a serrated knife or a new razor blade might be an option. I was able to send four heavyweight laminated posters (42" x 60") thanks to the 4 inch diameter. These large-diameter tubes are difficult to come by in the area.
I covered it in Halloween-themed Duct Tape and secured it to my railing. I put the candy in one end and it came out the other for the kids to take with them in their bags. It was an excellent experience.
I needed something to ship a large rolled canvas painting, and this was perfect. The tube interior is a full 48" long, even with both lids on. br>A little on the pricey side, but I couldn't find it in any of the local stores.
