Because the tube is 25 inches long, it can hold a 24" poster. The caps are made of. 5" high.
I'm not sure how big it is, but it's thick and stiff enough that the contents of the tube will never be damaged. I'd say 1/8" is a good estimate.
The 15" x 2" dimensions, on the other hand, are a bit of a stretch. The weight of a 5" tube is 3. Without the caps, this weighs 5 oz. For you, that's at the very least a starting point.
These tubes have no branding on them.

I bought three different brands of 3" x 36" tubes (these are "Staples 558448 3-Inch x 36-Inch 3-Inch x 36-Inch 3-Inch x 36-Inch 3-Inch x 36-inch x inch x inch x inch x inch x inch "Quality Park 46008 White Mailing Tubes, 24l x 2dia, White (Case of 25)" and "Inch Staples White Mailing Tubes 12/Carton (11634)". These are the most suitable options for us. (I don't have any Quality Park tubes anymore, so I can't include information about them here. ) )br>br>An advantage of these tubes (for us) is that the inside dimension is large enough to hold a 36" poster (37-inch diameter). 1/16" length with 7/16" caps, resulting in a 36-inch inside dimension 1/4"). We've been buying the 36" tubes from Staples, which have a 35-inch inside diameter. 7/8"). br>br>Another benefit of these over the Staples tube is that they are lighter (eight pounds). 6 oz [292 g] vs. 3 oz [292 g]. 241 g (8 oz). In our case, this allows us to ship the item as a pound rather than a pound and a half. 2 pounds. The end caps on these are also more secure (the caps on the Staples tubes were taped in place). These have a slight disadvantage over the Staples in that they are brown rather than white.
Update: I contacted Amazon customer service, who was courteous and eager to help me resolve my issue. They assured me that the next box of tubes they would send would be the correct size; however, they arrived 1" larger, making them a priority mail item rather than a first class item. That's a $3-off coupon. When you ship, the price per tube varies by $4. I used my band saw to remove the extra inch, and they now function perfectly. What a pain in the neck. br>br>To ship wrapping paper, I purchased the " 2"x22" " tube. This size was chosen because it fell just short of the First Class Mail requirements. The tubes are of excellent quality, but they are one inch longer than stated - They'll be shipped as a priority mail item, which will cost a few dollars more. As a result, these tubes are 2"x23" rather than 2"x22. " When you buy something and it isn't what it appears to be, it irritates me.
My Etsy shop's products were shipped using this method. It's fantastic! They're sturdy and just the right size, but I was concerned that the plastic ends would come loose during shipping, so I covered them with packing tape to be safe.
So far, they've served me well. So far, only one has been shipped with no damage.
It used to be fantastic, but not so much with the most recent order of ten boxes. Before I can even mail them, the spiraled cardoard is coming unglued and "unwinding. " And in one week, the price jumps from $34 to $50? HA! I go through thousands of these every year, but this greedy seller won't sell me any more.
These tubes offer excellent value for money. I bought 24 of them for around $42 and use them to ship pool cues.
